It was introduced as a public health strategy in health facilities around the world, highlighting its benefits and limitations for routine dental practice and the ability of dental professionals from various specialties to adapt. The main objective of the study was to determine the perception of teledentistry use and its relation to attitudes in monitoring orthodontic treatments among orthodontists in the district of San Isidro, 2023. Materials and Methods: The data collection technique used in the study was the survey. The instruments were two questionnaires previously validated by expert judgment, and reliability tests were performed for their application in establishing the relationship between perception and attitudes among 45 orthodontists working in the district of San Isidro, regarding teledentistry and its application in monitoring orthodontic treatments. Results: The perception of teledentistry among orthodontists who participated in the study was good, with a positive attitude of 55.6%. Additionally, the Chi-square test was performed, yielding a p-value of 0.046, which is lower than the 5% significance level (p-value < 0.05). Conclusion: There is a statistically significant relationship between the perception of teledentistry use and attitudes in monitoring orthodontic treatments among orthodontists in the district of San Isidro.
