Evaluación de cumplimiento de las buenas prácticas de oficinas farmacéuticas de la Av. Próceres de la Independencia, San Juan de Lurigancho 2021 - 2022

El objetivo fue evaluar el cumplimiento de las buenas prácticas de oficinas farmacéuticas de la Av. Próceres de la Independencia, San Juan de Lurigancho. En nuestra investigación, optamos por un método deductivo descriptivo analítico, con un enfoque cuantitativo de tipo básico, diseño no experimental, descriptivo y de corte transversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 26 establecimientos farmacéuticos, en donde se aplicó el instrumento lista de cotejo que estuvo organizado en 29 ítems que a su vez estuvo distribuido en 4 dimensiones, cuya confiabilidad con un Alfa de Crowbach fue de 0.876. Dentro de los resultados, el 62% de los establecimientos farmacéuticos obtuvieron un alto nivel de cumplimiento respecto a los requerimientos de conocimientos, experiencia, responsabilidad que necesita el personal. Respecto a la dimensión infraestructura, mobiliario y equipamiento adecuados para su funcionamiento, el 62% de los establecimientos farmacéuticos manifestaron tener un alto nivel de cumplimiento. Así mismo, un 31% de los establecimientos farmacéuticos entrevistados manifestaron tener un nivel alto de cumplimiento sobre documentación requerida. Finalmente se demostró que, todos los establecimientos farmacéuticos evaluados cuentan con Certificación de Buenas Prácticas de Oficina Farmacéutica. Concluyéndose que el 54% de establecimientos farmacéuticos cumplen con las buenas prácticas de oficina farmacéutica.

Level of satisfaction in dental teleconsultation versus care face-to-face in the patients of the private clinic Dentilike during the pandemic 2021

Objective: To evaluate the level of satisfaction with tele-dental consultation versus in-person dental care in patients at Dentilike clinic during the 2021 pandemic. Methodology: Applied research with an observational design, cross-sectional and analytical. The sample consisted of all patients over 18 years old who visited the Dentilike dental center in Lima during October and November 2021. A simple random probability sampling method was used, based on the finite sample size formula, resulting in a sample size of 169. Two types of validated questionnaires were used to measure the level of satisfaction with teleconsultation and in-person consultations. The data were analyzed after coding and creating an Excel data matrix, processed using a PC with the INTEL CORE I5 operating system and SPSS version 26. The variables were analyzed using descriptive statistics, frequencies, and percentages with a significance level of 0.05%. Results: 44.4% of those evaluated in teleconsultation reported high satisfaction, compared to 48.5% of those evaluated in in-person consultations, with both groups presenting high levels of satisfaction.

Salivary pH in patients with and without periodontitis attended in the dentistry clinic of the Norbert Wiener Private University, Lima 2019

The objective of this research was to determine the salivary pH in patients with and without periodontitis treated at the Dental Clinic of the Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener – Lima 2019. The sample size was determined by sample calculation, consisting of 110 patients, 55 with periodontitis and 55 without periodontitis. The salivary pH was measured by placing pH indicator strips on the floor of the mouth for 5 seconds, and identifying the pH based on the color observed, compared with the manufacturer's reference. The results showed that patients with periodontitis had a salivary pH of 6.25 ± 0.52, while those without periodontitis had a pH of 6.44 ± 0.81. Patients with mild periodontitis had a salivary pH of 6.28 ± 0.46, those with moderate periodontitis had a pH of 6.31 ± 0.60, and patients with severe periodontitis had a pH of 6.00 ± 0.00. Men with periodontitis had a salivary pH of 6.24 ± 0.50, while women had a pH of 6.27 ± 0.55. Men without periodontitis had a salivary pH of 6.67 ± 0.59, while women had a pH of 6.32 ± 0.88. It was concluded that there is no statistically significant difference in the salivary pH between patients with and without periodontitis.
