Dependencia emocional y la violencia de pareja en mujeres que trabajan en una academia preuniversitaria de Lima Metropolitana, 2025

El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo establecer la relación entre la dependencia emocional y la violencia de pareja en mujeres que trabajan en una academia preuniversitaria de Lima Metropolitana, 2025. La investigación se desarrolló bajo un método hipotético-deductivo, con enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo básico, diseño no experimental, de corte transversal y nivel correlacional. La población estuvo conformada por 122 mujeres, de las cuales se seleccionó una muestra no probabilística de 110 participantes. Se utilizaron como instrumentos el Cuestionario de Dependencia Emocional (CDE) de Lemos y Londoño (2006) y el Cuestionario de Violencia entre Novios (CUVINO), ambos con propiedades psicométricas validadas.La recolección de datos se efectuó mediante la técnica de encuesta, y el análisis estadístico se realizó a través del coeficiente de correlación de Spearman. Los resultados evidenciaron una correlación positiva alta y significativa entre la dependencia emocional y la violencia de pareja (rs = .704; p = .001). Asimismo, se identificaron correlaciones significativas con las dimensiones: desapego (rs = .651), humillación (rs = .619), coerción (rs = .614), violencia de género (rs = .576), castigo emocional (rs = .537), violencia sexual (rs = .482) y violencia física (rs = .466), todas con un nivel de significancia de p = .001. Se concluye que la dependencia emocional constituye un factor asociado a la presencia y mantenimiento de dinámicas violentas dentro de la relación de pareja, lo cual evidencia la necesidad de promover intervenciones preventivas centradas en la autonomía afectiva y la construcción de vínculos saludables.

Relationship between knowledge and attitude of sex workers towards sexuall y transmitted infections in times of pandemic in the province of barranca, 2021

Objective: To determine the relationship between the knowledge and attitude of sex workers regarding sexually transmitted infections during the pandemic in Barranca province, 2021. Methodology: Non-experimental, quantitative approach, basic type, correlational level, cross-sectional, and prospective method. The population consisted of 100 sex workers, with a sample of 44 (formal and informal). A 16-item questionnaire assessed knowledge about sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and another 16-item questionnaire assessed attitudes toward STIs. Results: 56.8% had a medium level of knowledge about STIs, and 65.9% had a regular attitude. 56.8% demonstrated good knowledge about the concept of STIs, 68.2% showed a positive attitude toward the concept, 70.5% had good knowledge about risk factors, and 54.5% exhibited a positive attitude toward them. Additionally, 72.7% demonstrated good knowledge about prevention, and 59.1% had a positive attitude toward prevention. Conclusion: There is a relationship between the knowledge and attitude of sex workers regarding sexually transmitted infections during the pandemic in Barranca province, 2021.

Risk of breast cancer in workers exposed to rotating shifts

Objective: Systematize evidence on the risk of breast cancer in workers exposed to rotating schedules. Material and Methods: The research design is systematic reviews, meta-analysis, cases and controls, using the Pubmed NCBI and Sciencedirect database instrument. Not older than 10 years. For the study, 42 scientific research articles were analyzed, leaving 10 articles as a sample: meta-analysis and cases and controls (30%), systematic review and meta-analysis (20%), mixed and descriptive linear regression (10%), They belong to the countries of China and the USA (30%), Europe (20%), Germany, Spain, Poland and Norway (10%). Results: Of 10 articles reviewed, 90% conclude that the exposure of workers to rotating schedules has the risk of developing breast cancer, 5 articles recommending further studies to support this relationship, 3 articles mention that interrupting the circadian rhythm causes a decrease in melatonin, an anti-cancer hormone, increasing this risk in workers who work rotating schedules for long periods of time (15-20 years). Conclusions: A positive relationship was evident between the exposure of workers to rotating schedules specifically after midnight and working for more than 15-20 years, presenting an increased risk of developing breast cancer.

Work overload related to stress in the Nursing staff in times of Covid19 at the Dos de Mayo National Hospital Lima 2022

Introduction: work overload and stress continue to increasingly affect the health of the working population worldwide and is becoming more noticeable in health personnel, which is why it is important to learn how it manifests and cope with it. Objective: Determine how work overload is related to stress in nursing staff in times of covid19 at the Dos de Mayo National Hospital Lima 2022. Materials and methods: The type of research is an applied, non-experimental quantitative, cross-sectional, correlational approach. The population will be finite and will consist of 80 people who are part of the nursing staff who work in the internal medicine hospitalization services of the Dos de Mayo national hospital Lima 2022. The data collection technique to be used will be the survey and will be applied 2 validated instruments to collect the information that will respond to the stated hypotheses, quantitative measurements and statistical analyzes will be made to determine the predictions of the problems raised. Research conduct in line with ethical principles will be maintained throughout the study.
