Ítem Acceso abierto Critical review: parameters of muscle damage in athletes training at high altitude or under hypoxic conditions(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-07-14) Avila Camargo, Magaly Elizabeth; Inocente Camones, Miguel AngelThe present secondary research entitled as a critical review: Parameters of muscle damage in athletes who train at altitude or hypoxia condition, had the objective of analyzing the scientific articles, according to Cloud methodology of clinical studies, published on the parameters of muscle damage in athletes who They train, in conditions of altitude and/or hypoxia. The clinical question was: Does muscle damage increase in athletes who train at altitude or in hypoxic conditions? The Evidence-Based Nutrition (NuBE) methodology was used. The information search was carried out in PUBMED, HINARI, SCIELO, DOAJ, REDALYC and JURN, finding 71 articles, 41 being selected that have been evaluated by the CASPE critical reading tool, finally selecting the Randomized Clinical Trial titled: Impact of exercise of resistance in hypoxia on muscle damage, inflammatory responses and performance, which has a level of evidence AI and Strong Recommendation Grade, according to the expertise of the researcher. The critical comment allowed us to conclude that it must be taken into account that geographical factors can alter a result, even though an attempt has been made to control all the variables at the time of the experiment.
