Ítem Acceso abierto Myofascial mobilization induced by Movement and foam roller in the intensity of the Lumbar pain and flexibility in football players with Chronic low back pain from the minor league Breña, Lima 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-04-16) Alarcón Chaparro, Luz Sofía; Ventura Alarcón, Yadira SulemaFootball is the most popular sport worldwide and nationally, and it has a very high percentage of injuries, with low back pain being the fourth most common disorder. Myofascial mobilization induced by movement is a method based on fascial connectivity, using exercises designed around anatomical points and the distribution, arrangement, and function of myofascial chains to optimize the stretching capacity of myofascial tissue in the entire fascio-muscular-joint system. This helps eliminate mechanical components that trigger injury factors affecting performance and functionality. On the other hand, the foam roller is widely used by athletes of all levels; however, current research shows that although it reduces muscle stiffness and increases the range of motion, it should be combined with dynamic stretching and active warm-up for optimal recovery and long-term effects.
