Ítem Acceso abierto Cervical collar placement technique in nursing professionals during prehospital care of polytraumatized patients in emergencies, 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-02-07) Geronimo Quispe, Elizabeth Cristell; Bastidas Solis, Miriam CeciliaObjectives: To determine the cervical collar placement technique in nursing professionals during pre-hospital care of polytrauma patients in emergencies, 2021 Materials and methods: The study was quantitative, descriptive and cross-sectional. The population was 30 nursing professionals. The technique to be used in the field work was observation. The data collection instrument was an Observation Guide on the cervical collar placement technique in nursing professionals during pre-hospital care of polytrauma patients in emergencies. Likewise, to carry out the validity of the instrument, it will be submitted to expert judgment and processed in the Binomial Test Table (p = 0.002); After that, the pilot test will be carried out to determine statistical reliability using the Cronbach's Alpha test (α = 80.7). After data collection, the data will be coded in the SPSS Statistical Program version 26.0, and the Microsoft Excel 2019 Program will also be used, in which all the results of the field work were presented and which were presented in tables and figures for statistical data analysis, discussion based on the theoretical framework and background of the study.Ítem Acceso abierto Prevalence of musculoskeletal disorder in the technical staff of the nursing service at the Alberto Barton Thompson hospital -Callao 2020(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-08-21) Mendoza Amez, Patricia Elena; Fuentes Siles, María AngélicaThe purpose of this research was to determine the prevalence of musculoskeletal disorder in the technical staff of the nursing service at the Alberto Leopoldo Barton Thompson Hospital, Callao 2020. The methodology used in the study was quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional and non-experimental design. The sample included 95 technicians from the Alberto Leopoldo Barton Thompson Hospital. The results found show that 70.5% of the technical personnel were between 31 and 45 years old, the predominant sex was female in 82.1% and with respect to work seniority, 55.8% of the technical personnel had more than 5 years. With respect to the area of musculoskeletal disorder, 32.8% of workers report having discomfort at the level of the neck, left shoulder, back at the lumbar and dorsal level, right and left knee, right and left wrist, right calf, right and left foot and hip. 68.4% of the staff stated that they had had these discomforts between 1 and 2 times a week. 49.5% of the staff presented moderate pain. Where it is concluded that the presence of musculoskeletal disorder in nursing staff is of a moderate level with a frequency of 1 to 2 times per week.Ítem Acceso abierto Prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders in the nursing staff of the sterilization center of a hospital in Lima(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-01-17) Camacho Reyes, Julissa Marisol; Pretell Aguilar, Rosa MaríaThis research has a quantitative approach, with a cross-sectional descriptive methodological design. The population will consist of 30 people who work at The Sterilization Central; between nurses and technicians who work in the central sterilization service of the San Juan de Lurigancho National Hospital. The participants were selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria established in the research. To measure the prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders, the Nordic questionnaire by I. Kuorinka will be applied, which has been used in Peru by Vidal Caro Williams in the research of his thesis: “Prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders in undergraduate students of “Stomatology at the San Juan Bautista Private University during 2016.” This Standardized Nordic questionnaire is typified for the detection of musculoskeletal symptoms, which was developed and proposed to the International Scientific Community in 1987, after being validated in the Scandinavian population. It is a questionnaire applicable to the general population since its language is simple. The questionnaire consists of 11 questions, related to MSDs located in five areas of the body (neck, shoulder, dorsal or lumbar area, elbow or forearm, wrist or hand).Ítem Acceso abierto Results of cardiotocography in relation to funicular dystocia, condition of the newborn and type of delivery at the “Las Mercedes” regional teaching hospital in Chiclayo in the year 2016-2017(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-03-23) Moreno Llanos, María Evelyn; Vidaurre Cortez, Giovanna; Huaman Elera, Jose ManuelMaterial and methods: A quantitative, non-experimental, prospective, longitudinal, analytical study was carried out. The sample was obtained by non-probabilistic or convenience sampling. Information was collected from the review of medical records. The statistical test used was the chi square. Results: The sociodemographic maternal characteristics with the highest percentage were adulthood, level of secondary education, nulliparous, and full-term gestation. The presence of funicular dystocia recorded a normal baseline, silent variability (7.2%), absence of accelerations (46.4%), variable decelerations (43.5%), present fetal movements; The result of the non-reactive stress test was 62.8% and the positive non-reactive stress test was 30.8%. The most frequent was clear amniotic fluid, simple circular cord, rejectable and located in the neck of the newborn. The highest percentage of births was by cesarean section. Newborns with Apgar scores of 7 to 10 at one minute and funicular dystocia had a non-reactive stress test or a reactive negative stress test. Cardiotocography showed low sensitivity, high specificity, a positive predictive value of 75%, a negative predictive value of 52.4% and a statistically significant relationship between cardiotocographic results and funicular dystocia. Conclusion: There is a statistically significant relationship (p<0.05) between cardiotocographic results and the presence of funicular dystocia. The non-stressful test had a statistically significant relationship with the type of delivery.
