The study was descriptive, observational, prospective, and longitudinal. The data were evaluated using the SPSS v23 statistical software, with the Chi-square test applied for the association of variables, and frequency tables used for the determination of prevalence. The results showed that 58.8% of children aged 6 to 10 years had poor knowledge about oral health before the educational session, with 61.5% of females and 55.7% of males falling into this category. After the educational session, 47.8% of the children had a regular level of oral health knowledge, with 46.7% of males and 49% of females in this group. The study concluded that children aged 6 to 10 years at I.E. Francisco Bolognesi Cervantes No. 2053 improved their oral health knowledge after the educational session, moving from poor knowledge to regular knowledge about oral health.
