Publicación Acceso abierto Notificaciones de reacciones adversas a medicamentos del Hospital Nacional Arzobispo Loayza 2018–2019(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-07-03) Ramirez Miguel, Teresa; Caldas Herrera, María EvelinaResults: A review of 78 cases registered and reported to DIGEMID was conducted. The age group with the highest percentage of reported adverse drug reactions (ADRs) was 20-40 years old (46.15%), and the female gender reported the highest percentage of ADRs at 70.51%. Dermatological ADRs were the most reported (60%), primarily described as cutaneous eruption/rash (50%). Type B ADRs accounted for 60.26%. Age was related to ADRs according to the Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events (CTCAE) (p<0.05), with dermatological ADRs being higher in the 20-60 year age group (66.66%) and gastrointestinal ADRs increasing in the older age group (30.0%). According to the ATC classification, antibacterials were the most prevalent group (35%), followed by NSAIDs. The main implicated medications were ceftriaxone, imipenem/cilastatin, vancomycin, and ketoprofen. Regarding the outcome of the ADRs, 65.0% required treatment, and 5.7% had a prolonged hospital stay. 65.7% received pharmacological treatment, with chlorphenamine being the most used drug to reverse the ADRs (59.5%). Finally, 59.0% of the ADRs were categorized as probable.
