The sample was 110 students from the professional school of nursing at Norbert Wiener University, being selected by inclusion and exclusion criteria of the research. To measure the level of stress and its relationship with the level of anxiety, the second version of Arturo Barraza's self-assessment instrument for academic stress (2018) was used, which includes 21 items grouped into 3 dimensions and the self-assessment instrument for academic stress. zung this comprises 20 items.Ítem Acceso abierto Frequency of needle-stick accidents among final-year nursing students at Norbert Wiener Private University, 2017(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-11-29) Camarena Capcha, Ena Sara; Sánchez De La Cruz, Talitha Sayana; Borda Izquierdo, AlejandroObjective: To identify the frequency of sharp accidents that occur in nursing students in the last cycles of nursing at the Norbert Wiener University, 2017. Material and method: The population was made up of 151 students in the last cycles of nursing. The instrument was the questionnaire which was created by the researchers. Data processing was carried out with the SPSS version 23 program. Results: More than 50 percent of nursing students in the last cycles had at least one sharp accident, registering up to 4 accidents in some cases. Regarding the characteristics of the accidents, this study found that 74.4% of accidents occurred in the morning shift. 55.1% of the accidents occurred in the medicine service. 53.8% of sharps accidents caused superficial wounds. 60.3% of the accidents occurred in the treatment car and 62.8% of the accidents were caused by needles. Conclusions: More than half of students in the last nursing cycles had at least one sharp accident, registering up to 4 accidents in some cases.Ítem Acceso abierto Knowledge and preventive measures of unwanted pregnancy among nursing students at Norbert Wiener University in the 2021-I period(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-09-23) Rojas Zapata, Allison Francesca; Fuentes Siles, María AngélicaObjective: Determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and measures to prevent unwanted pregnancy in nursing students at Norbert Wiener University in the 2021-I period. Research methodology: The study is correlational, of an application type and non-experimental design. The population is made up of one hundred and sixty (160) nursing students from Norbert Wiener University. The data collection technique was the survey and was applied using a virtual form. Results: A positive and moderate, statistically significant correlation was evident between the study variables with a Spearman coefficient of 0.5342. Conclusions: It can be inferred that there is a relationship between the study variables. Regarding the family, self-taught/audiovisual, school/university and social dimensions, the correlation values amount to 0.4813, 0.3313, 0.3618 and 0.3438 respectively. What was found in the study shows the importance of disseminating the necessary knowledge to promote the prevention of unwanted pregnancies, given the direct relationship that exists between both variables.
