    Factores Asociados a la desnutrición en adultos mayores de la Obra Social Casa de San Martín de Porres, Lima-2023

    The research aimed to determine the relationship between the factors associated with malnutrition in older adults. The methodology employed was basic, with a non-experimental design, a quantitative approach, a hypothetical-deductive method, a cross-sectional design, and a correlational scope. The data collection technique was a survey using a questionnaire, and the statistical software SPSS 25 was used with Spearman's rank correlation coefficient to measure correlations. The study population consisted of 120 adults from the Casa de San Martín de Porres Social Welfare Center. The main results showed that 54.2% were at risk of malnutrition and 3.3% were malnourished. Regarding the relationship between malnutrition and associated factors, no relationship was found with economic factors (Sig.=0.706) or physiological factors (Sig.=0.148)." nor comorbidities (Sig.= 0.179). It is concluded that there is no relationship between the factors associated with malnutrition in older adults of the Social Work Casa de San Martín de Porres, Lima in 2023.
