Ítem Acceso abierto level of knowledge about the technical standard of the odontogram (2019) in the graduates of the professional school of dentistry of the norbert wiener university that make up the research work development workshop, 2020 semester -II(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-10-04) Ramos Yangali, Wilfredo Jilver; Torres Pariona, David ArturoIn dentistry practice, the student and clinician make appropriate clinical records of the oral cavity, with the first document being the clinical history. Within this, the odontogram is a medical-legal document where clinical or radiographic findings for each patient should be recorded in order to prevent, correct, or diagnose any pathologies that may arise. Therefore, the importance of this document for healthcare professionals must be adequately trained from the early academic cycles, and it could be said that they should know the details of the odontogram mechanism. No errors should occur, as this document not only records clinical data but also plays a role in forensic dentistry. A dental professional, when reviewing the odontogram, can learn about the patient's dental history, establishing their oral health status and comparing it with the current condition. In developed countries, electronic health records are used, which include a wide database where the odontogram is also managed digitally. This reduces errors and bureaucratic processes, providing more time for quality patient care.
