Ítem Acceso abierto Post-cataract surgery patient monitoring through the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) at the Divino Niño Jesús ophthalmology clinic, Lima – 2019(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-05-30) Montoro Choque, Cinthia Ericka; Gonzales Saldaña, Susan HaydeeMethod: Quantitative, descriptive approach, in terms of longitudinal, non-experimental methodological design, with a total population of 100 patients post cataract surgery and discharged from the clinic, meeting the criteria (inclusion - exclusion), the applied technique was the interview and to determine the use of information and communication technologies (ICT), an instrument was applied to collect data such as a scale or telephone Score called by the author Viñoles: Ambulatory Surgery Disability Scale (ASI). Results: There is low disability (ASI 1) in all telephone calls, with call 1 (98.0%) being control acquisition in good recovery progress; followed by high disability (ASI 3) (18.0%) in the 4th. call; and the average disability (ASI 2) shows lower uptake with 2.0% and 5.0% in the 1st. and 3rd. call. Conclusions: It was determined that in the monitoring of post-cataract surgery patients through the use of information and communication technology (ICT), there was a low disability (ASI 1) of the patients in all telephone calls; then the high disability (ASI 3) in the 4th. call; while the average disability (ASI 2) shows less uptake (1st and 3rd call), requiring more calls for improvement in the patient.
