La validación de dichos instrumentos se hizo por prueba piloto y juicio de expertos respectivamente logrando confiabilidad alfa Cronbach de 0.96 y 0.90 cada uno.Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of positioning after macular hole surgery in decreasing complications in ophthalmology surgical patients.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-03-25) Delgado Wong, Melissa Cristina; Paredes Perez, Nardi; Rivera Lozada de Bonilla, OrianaObjective: Systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of positioning after macular hole surgery to reduce complications in ophthalmology surgical patients. Material and Methods: The type of quantitative study, the design was a systematic review. The Population was 57 articles, the sample was 10 scientific articles, the instrument was the following databases: Pub Med, Wolters Kluwer, Ovid insights. After the systematic review of the results obtained, according to the methodological design, 20% (n= 2/10) are systematic review, 20% (n= 2/10) meta-analysis, 20% experimental (n=2/10). ) and 40% (n=4/10) cohort, according to the quality of evidence 60% (n=6/10) high and 40 (n=4/10) moderate, in relationship to the strength of recommendation 60% (n=6/10) strong and 40% (n=4/10) weak. According to the country of origin: London 10%, United Kingdom 20%, China 10%, Ireland 20%, India 10%, Japan 10%, Italy 10%, Norway 10% respectively. Results: 50% (n = 5/10) of the articles demonstrate the effectiveness of positioning after macular hole surgery to reduce complications in ophthalmology surgical patients. Conclusion: It was concluded that 50% (n = 5/10) agree on the effectiveness of positioning after macular hole surgery to reduce complications in ophthalmology surgical patients. Discrepancy was found regarding the effectiveness of positioning after macular hole surgery to reduce complications in ophthalmology surgical patients by 50% (n = 5/10).Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of the educational program “Eye Health“ in self-caring in caregivers of the largest post-taked adult of cataract at the National Institute of Oftalmology 2018(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-11-29) Ibarra Yancan de Villegas, Mirtha; Montes Pariona, Juana; Calsin Pacompia, WilmerObjective: To determine the effectiveness of the educational program "Eye Health" in self-care among caregivers of elderly patients who underwent cataract surgery at the National Institute of Ophthalmology in 2018. Methodology: A study with a quantitative design, quasi-experimental method. A prospective, longitudinal study, with a sample of 45 caregivers. The instrument used was the application of a questionnaire and checklist, with prior informed consent. Results: In the pre-test, 100% had a low level of knowledge regarding self-care. Regarding practice, 100% did not apply knowledge of self-care. In the post-test, after the intervention, 60% achieved a moderate level of knowledge, and 31.1% achieved a high level of knowledge about self-care. Regarding self-care practice, after the educational intervention, 100% applied the knowledge. Thus, the effectiveness of the educational program was evident. The Wilcoxon Z test (-5.862) was used, finding a statistically significant result (p = 0.000). Conclusions: The educational program "Eye Health" was effective in increasing caregivers' knowledge about postoperative care for cataract surgery patients. After the educational program, most caregivers understood that warning signs and symptoms include pain and red eye. They learned that after surgery, they should consider mobility restrictions, avoid lifting heavy objects, and that eye drops should be applied after washing hands, shaking the drops, and applying them to the operated eye. A 10-minute waiting period between applications of each drop improves absorption.Ítem Acceso abierto Efficacy of positioning after macular hole surgery to reduce complications in ophthalmology surgical patients(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-03-25) Delgado Wong, Melissa Cristina; Paredes Perez, Nardi; Rivera Lozada de Bonilla, OrianaObjective: Systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of positioning after macular hole surgery to reduce complications in ophthalmology surgical patients. The methodology: Hypothetical deductive method, non-experimental design with a quantitative approach of descriptive type, applied, cross-sectional correlation; the sample will be constituted by patients who were operated on the clinic health view 2023, the instruments to be used for the research work will be the quality of care questionnaire and the user satisfaction questionnaire, validated previously, for variable 1 by means of Expert Judgement, as well as variable 2 by means of Aiken:0.812 and factorial analysis:0.601,so they have a high level of reliability (0.80 in variable 1 and 0.93 in the alpha of Cronbach) statistic, for the collection of information, will have a duration of approximately 30 minutes, for each patient, tables and graphs shall be used for analysis and interpretation. Therefore, the hypothesis will be contracted, using as statistical estimate the Spearman test, with a confidence level of 95%, an error of 5%, which will be reflected in the contingency table for both variables.
