N°18255 Leoncio Prado through educational sessions via teledentistry in Chachapoyas, Amazonas, 2022. Methodology: 108 students, both male and female, were evaluated using a questionnaire that covered various dimensions, including prevention, cavities, oral hygiene, and general oral health. Afterward, the students participated in a 30-minute educational session via teledentistry. The same questionnaire was given again for them to complete after the session. Results: The primary school students from I.E. N°18255 Leoncio Prado initially had a low understanding of the preventive dimension of oral health (100%), a low understanding of cavities (97.2%), a low understanding of oral hygiene (77.8%), and a low understanding of general oral health (100%). These levels drastically improved after the educational session via teledentistry, with the understanding of preventive measures, dental cavities, oral hygiene, and general oral health showing only 4.6%, 9.3%, 0%, and 2.8% low understanding, respectively. Conclusion: The educational session via teledentistry was effective in improving the understanding of oral health.
