A quantitative, applicative study with a correlational design. The population will be finite and will be made up of all 60 primary caregivers of terminal cancer patients who belong to the home service of an Oncology Clinic in Lima, during the period April and June 2022. For data collection, the "Zarit Care Burden Perception Interview - ZCBI" and the "Quality of life scale, family caregiver version of the cancer patient" developed by Betty Ferrell will be used, both have high validity and reliability. Material and Method: Systematic analysis of ten articles was carried out. Scientists on the effectiveness of home palliative care for the patient older adult. The articles presented were found in the database Scielo, Pubmed, Dialnet, Lilacs and Epistemonicos. All were analyzed according to the Grade scale to determine the quality of evidence and strength of recommendation. Results: The selected articles were of high quality of evidence; 50% systematic reviews and 50% clinical trials randomized. 30% of the evidence found comes from United States, 20% from Sweden, 20% from England and 10% from China. Australia and Ireland respectively. They all report that palliative care home treatments are effective because they reduce in-hospital infections, reduces readmissions to hospitals, avoids therapeutic fierceness, the family becomes more involved in the care on your patient and are less expensive than palliative care hospital. Conclusions: Home palliative care is effective as long as the family is sensitized, trained and committed to care, guaranteeing an adequate environment. Materials and Methods: Observational and retrospective systematic review, quantitative in nature, critically selected using the GRADE evaluation system to identify evidence grade. The articles were found in PubMed, Science Direct, Lilacs, Scielo, Elsevier, and Epistemonikos. Of the 10 systematically reviewed articles, 60% (n=6/10) are systematic reviews, 20% (n=2/10) are case-control studies, 10% (n=1/10) are randomized controlled trials, and 10% (n=1/10) are cross-sectional studies. The results come from Germany and Argentina (20% each), Mexico (10%), Cuba (10%), the United Kingdom (10%), Spain (10%), Colombia (10%), and the United States (10%). Results: 100% (n=10/10) of the research articles conclude that palliative care is effective. Material and Methods: Systematic observational and retrospective quantitative review, subjected to critical selection, using the Grade evaluation system to identify the degree of evidence, found in the following databases: PubMed, Sciencedirect, Scielo, Wiley Online Library, Elsevier, Epistemonikos. Of the 10 articles systematically reviewed, 80% (n= 8/10) are systematic reviews and 20% (n= 2/10) are meta-analyses. According to the results obtained from the systematic review carried out in the present study, they come from the USA (30%), followed by Brazil (30%), Spain (20%), Italy (10%) and Germany (10%). Results: Likewise, of the evidence found, 60% (n=06/10) indicate the effectiveness of palliative care in the intensive care unit. Material and Methods: Observational and retrospective systematic review, the search has been restricted to articles with full text, and the selected articles were subjected to a critical reading, using Jover's evaluation to identify their degree of evidence. Results: In the final selection, They chose 10 articles from the following countries: Singapore, United States, England, Canada, China, France, which were 3 systematic reviews, 2 experimental, 1 quasi-experimental, 1 pre-experimental and 2 cohort; where it was established that the 10 articles are equivalent to 100% (n = 10/10) where the effectiveness of palliative care in oncological patients was determined. MATERIAL AND METHOD: The study is a systematic observational and retrospective review of articles with full text, in which their grade or quality of evidence was identified according to the Grade System. The population was made up of 10 articles obtained from the following databases in Pubmed, Medline, Embase, Cochrane Library, Dialnet, Scielo, and Lilacs search engines. Of which 90% (9/10) correspond to systematic reviews and 10% (1/10) to literature reviews, of these 60% (6/10) correspond to the United States, 10% to the United Kingdom ( 1/10), Germany 10% (1/10), Canada 10% (1/10), and Colombia 10% (1/10). Results: Of the 10 articles reviewed, 100% demonstrate that palliative care is effective in improving the quality of life in children with cancer. In the final selection, 10 articles were chosen, finding that 30% (03) correspond to Brazil, 20% (02) correspond to Spain, while 10% (01) contribute to Chile, the USA, China and Taiwan respectively. Of the studies reviewed, 80% were cohort studies, 10% were systematic reviews and the other 10% were case series. Results: The total number of articles analyzed with 100% affirms the effectiveness of the Behavioral Pain Scale for the assessment of non-communicative critically ill patients. The sample will consist of a total of 30 nursing professionals from the intensive care unit, who meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Metodología: Esta investigación adopta un enfoque cuantitativo y se basa en el método hipotético-deductivo. Se enmarca como una investigación de tipo aplicada, con un enfoque no experimental y de corte transversal, enfocándose en la identificación de correlaciones. La muestra estará constituida por 96 cuidadores primarios de pacientes oncológicos que reciben atención en el hospital mencionado. La técnica de recolección de datos será la encuesta. Los instrumentos de medición han sido validados previamente; se empleara un formulario para evaluar el nivel de conocimiento de los cuidadores según Carzola A. y Pacheco N. en el 2021, presentando una consistencia interna elevada (α = 0,89) según el Alpha de Cronbach, y otro formulario para valorar las actitudes de los cuidadores según Lopez M y Marroquin C. en el 2020, con un coeficiente de 0,78. Los datos recolectados serán tabulados y se realizarán las estadísticas necesarias, representándolos mediante tablas y gráficos cuando sea pertinente. Conclusion: Certainly, nurses play an important role in the care of children who live, suffer and die from life-threatening conditions. More research is needed to continue to advance the science of pediatric palliative nursing care, to further improve our understanding of how to improve the lives and decrease the suffering of these vulnerable children and their families who are at high risk for negative outcomes.
