To determine the relationship between the consumption of maca, ginger, and ginseng and the relief of andropause symptoms in men over 45 years of age at the El Ermitaño market, Lima, 2025. Methodology. A hypothetical-deductive method was used, with a quantitative approach, correlational scope, cross-sectional design, and basic type. The study consisted of 159 men, and data was collected through a structured survey. Hypothesis testing was performed using Spearman's rho coefficient. Results: 42.8% of participants were between 52 and 56 years old, 28.9% had diabetes, and 28.3% were obese. Regarding the consumption of medicinal plants, 39.6% consumed maca regularly, 50.9% consumed ginger frequently, and 55.3% frequently used ginseng. Most participants perceived them as very safe and consumed them primarily in smoothies. Regarding perceived effectiveness, 53.5% considered maca very effective, 40.3% ginger, and 45.9% ginseng. Furthermore, 66.0% presented moderate symptoms of andropause. A significant relationship was found between the consumption of these plants and symptom relief (p = 0.000). Conclusion: A low, significant positive correlation (rho = 0.335) was identified between the consumption of maca, ginger, and ginseng and the improvement of andropause symptoms in the men evaluated.
