    Effectiveness of sedoanalgesia protocols to reduce time on mechanical ventilation in intubated patients in intensive care units

    Objective: Systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of the management of sedoanalgesia protocols by nursing to reduce the time on mechanical ventilation in intubated patients in intensive care units (ICU). Material and Method: The systematic review of the 10 scientific articles about the effectiveness of the management of sedoanalgesia protocols by nursing for the reduction of time in mechanical ventilation in intubated patients in the ICU located in the following databases Cochrane, Lilacs, Scielo , Medline Pubmed, Google Scholar being analyzed according to the Grade scale to determine its strength and quality of evidence. Results: Of the 10 articles, 40% (4/10) correspond to systematic reviews (2) and clinical trials (2), 30% (3/10) cohort studies and 30% (3/10) studies control. 80% of the reviewed articles demonstrate the effectiveness of nursing sedation protocol management to reduce time on mechanical ventilation in intubated patients. Conclusions: 80% of the articles demonstrated that the management of sedoanalgesia protocols by nursing is effective in reducing time in mechanical ventilation, highlighting the important role that the nurse plays in this process according to an assertive assessment.

    Effectiveness of the administration of Omega-3 fatty acids in reducing the adverse effects of chemotherapy in cancer patients

    Objective: Systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of the administration of omega-3 fatty acids in reducing the adverse effects of chemotherapy in cancer patients. MATERIAL AND METHOD: The study is quantitative, with a systematic, observational and retrospective review design; of articles with full text, which identified their grade or quality of evidence according to the Grade System. Likewise, the population was made up of 10 most relevant scientific articles that were obtained from the following databases Pubmed, Medline, Embase, Cochrane Library, Dialnet, Scielo, and Lilacs. Of which 70% correspond to the methodological design of systematic review and 30% to randomized clinical trials, corresponding to the countries of the United States 20% (02/10), Holland 10% (01/10), Iran 10% (01 /10), Portugal 10% (01/10), Italy 10% (01/10), Colombia 10% (01/10), South Korea 10% (01/10), Mexico 10% (01/10), and Spain 10% (01/10). Results: Of the 10 articles reviewed, (10/10), 100% demonstrate effectiveness of the administration of omega-3 fatty acids in reducing the adverse effects of chemotherapy in cancer patients. Conclusions: 10 of 10 reviewed articles demonstrate evidence of the effectiveness of the administration of omega-3 fatty acids in reducing the adverse effects of chemotherapy in cancer patients; That is, evidence suggests a role for omega-3 fatty acid supplementation in cancer treatment, but they have been shown to preserve muscle mass and function in cancer patients.

    Emotional intelligence and anxiety level in adult patients with chronic kidney disease undergoing hemodialysis at the Clínica Megasalud Huacho 2022

    Objective The objective of this research is to determine the relationship that exists between Emotional Intelligence and the Level of Anxiety in Adult Patients with Chronic Kidney Disease undergoing Hemodialysis. Methodology This research has a deductive method with a quantitative, prospective and cross-sectional approach and has a sample made up of 62 patients. Results In this research work we want to ensure that patients can know their emotional state, therefore the nursing staff will play an important role in providing affection from the first contact they have with the patient, performing relaxation techniques, sessions in those who interact with their other classmates, making them participate in festivities throughout the year, sharing on special dates such as their birthday so that in this way confidence can be improved and they can cope with the process to which they are going to be subjected and consequently their level. stress improves. Conclusions According to the articles reviewed in this research, by improving work techniques during the hemodialysis process, there will be better precision, orientation, confidence and less time, increasing dialogue at all times with the patient, strengthening empathy and consequently reducing anxiety.

    Factors related to adherence to growth and development controls in children who attend a Health Center of the Pachacutec Micronetwork, window 2023

    In the component of growth and development control, nursing work plays a primary role since it is the condition for evaluating its effectiveness at all levels of care. However, there are factors that can condition adherence to growth and development controls, which may be related to the mother's lifestyles; including your habits, customs and beliefs; In addition, conditions in their environment that determine the development of attitudes that can lead to the absence of said controls. The study to be carried out aims to determine the factors related to the adherence of growth and development controls in children who attend a Health Center of the Pachacutec Micronetwork, Ventanilla 2022. It will have a quantitative approach, cross-sectional descriptive-correlational level . The population will be made up of 800 mothers, of which a sample of 260 will be taken through simple random probabilistic sampling. For data collection, the survey will be used as a technique and a questionnaire validated by Rosillo and Zapata (2019) will be used as an instrument, which will allow the data to be collected and then processed in statistical programs, analyzed and responded to the posed hypotheses.

    Most frequent errors incurred by the Nursing Professional in the Administration of Medication to hospitalized patients

    Objective: Identify the most frequent errors incurred by nursing professionals related to the administration of medication. Materials and Methods: Integrative review of eleven works published in the virtual library, from 2011 to 2015. Results: The results were classified into three categories. : 1.- Most frequent errors, where the dose obtained the most matches (14.28%), the Omission of medication administration (11.9%). 2.- Related factors: Interruptions and distractions during the administration of medication (11.62%) and illegible prescription (9.30%). 3.- Proposals for improvement: they highlighted the importance of adopting protocols and guides for the safe administration of medications. medications and the need for continuous training of professionals in the area of ​​pharmacology. Conclusions: It is imperative to use guides and protocols for the safe administration of medication within the framework of what is the Process of Nursing Care; Non-punitive error and adverse event notification modality, strengthen the role and effective presence of the nurse in the process to improve quality and safety in patient care.

Methods: The research method is hypothetical-deductive, since it is based on the observation of what is going to be studied, creation of the hypothesis to be able to explain it, deduction of consequences or more basic propositions from the hypothesis itself and verification of the truth of what is deduced with a comparison based on experience. This method forces the researcher to make use of rational reflection with an observation of reality.

    Self-esteem in patients with chronic kidney disease in a private hemodialysis clinic, San Luis - Lima, 2021

    The care of patients with chronic kidney disease on hemodialysis is not only based on clinical practices or medical procedures, but must also interact with the human part of the person who suffers. Therefore, in order to propose comprehensive and humanized care, we must know this phenomenon in depth. and specifically in our field, so that from there as nurses we can rethink about our role. Objective: determine the level of self-esteem in patients with chronic kidney disease in a private hemodialysis clinic in San Luis - Lima, 2021. Method: the study of an applied, descriptive and cross-sectional research and census sample of 60 patients with chronic kidney disease who receive hemodialysis in San Luis - Lima. The samples will be taken through the survey technique of hemodialysis patients between the months of July and August 2021 using an instrument "the bull self-esteem scale" that has a validity of Aiken's V of 0.98 and a reliability of Cronbach's alpha of 0.91, the results will be processed and analyzed with descriptive statistics to represent tables and figures.
