Consecuentemente, se procesará estadísticamente por el SPSS 25.0, de manera descriptiva, con apoyo de tablas de frecuencia y representaciones gráficas, y de forma inferencial, mediante Rho de Spearman, se validarán las conjeturas planteadas.Ítem Acceso abierto Efficacy of self-care of arteriovenous fistula in hemodialysis patients(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 1905-07-09) Bautista Rodrigez, Carmen Cecilia; Talaverano Gutierrez, Bertha Maria; Mendigure Fernández, JulioObjective: Systematize the available evidence on the effectiveness of self-care for arteriovenous fistula in hemodialysis patients. Material and methods: This is a Systematic Review of 20 articles in the database GOOGLE ACADEMICO, SCIELO, MEDLINE, whose search has been restricted to articles with full text, and the selected articles were subjected to a critical reading, using the evaluation of Jover to identify its degree of evidence. Results: It was found that the patients' level of AVF self-care knowledge was high in 15 articles. In 3 studies it was found that they have a low level of knowledge and in 1 a regular level of knowledge. Through this systematic review it can be stated that the increase in knowledge generates positive and lasting changes in behaviors or care practices for arteriovenous fistula, avoiding the most frequent complications, such as loss of the fistula, infections. It is necessary to emphasize self-care since it allows the person to have autonomy when acting to maintain their health.
