Publicación Acceso abierto Aceptación de medicamentos genéricos en usuarios que acuden a la botica BTP – distrito de Chaclacayo – Lima provincias, 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-04-28) Arias Ramos, Rosa Edith; Avila Sánchez, Rose Mary; Muñoz Jáuregui, Manuel JesúsThe general objective was to determine the level of acceptance of generic medications among users who visit the BTP pharmacy in the district of Chaclacayo, Lima provinces, 2022. Methodology: The research had a quantitative approach, basic type, with a descriptive level, non-experimental design, and cross-sectional scope. The study population consisted of 1,600 surveyed users, and the sample was probabilistic, resulting in 310 users. These users were evaluated using a research instrument validated by a panel of three experts on the topic and reliability measured through Cronbach's alpha, which had a good value (α = 0.868). Results: Data tabulation revealed that the level of acceptance of generic medications among users visiting the BTP pharmacy in Chaclacayo, Lima provinces, in 2022 was expressed as medium (84.8%). Similarly, the information level was medium (70%), the consumption level was medium (72.3%), the safety level was low (50%), and the access level was medium (60.6%). Objective: To evaluate adherence to pharmacotherapeutic treatment in adult patients with arterial hypertension who attend a pharmacy in San Juan de Lurigancho – Lima – Peru, 2023. Methodology: Deductive method, quantitative approach, applied type, observational design, cross-sectional, and descriptive level. A total of 300 patients were surveyed. Results: 69.7% of adult patients with arterial hypertension showed low adherence to their pharmacotherapeutic treatment, 19% showed medium adherence, and only 11.3% showed high adherence. Conclusion: It was determined that 69.7% of hypertensive adult patients attending a pharmacy in San Juan de Lurigancho present low adherence to their pharmacotherapeutic treatment. Furthermore, 77% of respondents in general reported that taking medication daily is considered uncomfortable when coping with the treatment plan.Publicación Acceso abierto Adherencia terapéutica y factores asociados en pacientes con hipertensión arterial en el Hospital III Emergencias Grau, 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2025-10-13) Giraldo Polo, Milagros Eysbell; Pizarro Huillca, Vicky Gloria; Muñoz Jáuregui, Manuel JesúsLa presente investigación es de tipo básica, de nivel descriptivo-correlacional y de corte transversal, cuyo objetivo es determinar la relación existente entre la adherencia terapéutica y los factores asociados en los pacientes con hipertensión arterial en el Hospital III Emergencias Grau, 2023. Para obtener la muestra utilizamos la fórmula de población finita, obtuvimos un tamaño de muestra igual a 100. Para medir la escala de adherencia a la medicación se aplicó el instrumento Escala de Adherencia a la Medicación VIMI – 001 (de elaboración propia), y para los factores asociados a la adherencia se aplicó un instrumento validado. Se utilizó el coeficiente de correlación Rho de Spearman para determinar la relación entre la adherencia terapéutica y los factores asociados, los resultados que obtuvimos indica que el 98% de los pacientes hipertensos tienen una adherencia terapéutica regular, y de este grupo el 74.5% tienen relación con los factores asociados en un nivel regular y el 25.5% tiene relación con los factores asociados en un nivel alto; en cuanto al Rho de Spearman fue de 0.019 que es menor a 0.05 por tal motivo rechazamos la hipótesis nula y aceptamos la hipótesis alterna de investigación, lo cual indica relación significativa entre la adherencia terapéutica y los factores asociados en los pacientes con hipertensión arterial en el Hospital III Emergencias Grau, 2023. Con los resultados obtenidos llegamos a la conclusión de que existen evidencias estadísticas para afirmar que la adherencia terapéutica y los factores asociados en los pacientes con hipertensión arterial en el Hospital III emergencias Grau, 2023 guardan una relación significativa.Publicación Acceso abierto Análisis de los factores clave asociados al abastecimiento de medicamentos esenciales en las farmacias de la IAFAS del Ejército del Perú, durante el periodo enero – octubre de 2024(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2025-09-16) Hernández Hernández, Milagros Geraldine; Collantes Llacza, Adela MarleneThe objective of the study was to “analyze the key factors associated with the supply of IAFAS pharmacies of the Peruvian Army at the national level during the period January-October 2024.” The method used was analytical, the approach was quantitative, basic, the design was non experimental, cross-sectional, and descriptive. The population and sample consisted of professional pharmaceutical chemists and/or military officers in charge (N=9), and nine IAFAS pharmacies of the Peruvian Army were also taken into account. Two instruments were used: a questionnaire and an observation guide. The results showed that the dimensions of administration (X² = 0.003) and operations (X² = 0.011) were significantly associated with the availability of essential medicines, unlike the dimension of logistics, which obtained an X² value of 0.134. The study was applied, deductive, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional, and descriptive design. The population consisted of users attending the pharmacy area at the study location, equivalent to 180 people served daily. The sample included 123 people attending the pharmacy area of the Zárate Health Center in 2022. Data collection was conducted using a survey, with the SERVQUAL questionnaire as the tool, containing 22 "Expectations" questions and 22 "Perceptions" questions. Results: The tangible elements dimension achieved a 60.42% approval rate, the reliability dimension 91.25%, the responsiveness dimension 91.67%, the security dimension 92.08%, and the empathy dimension 91.25%. The first variable included six dimensions, while the second variable included one dimension. The methodology chosen for this study was deductive and correlational. A sample of 252 customers from FamilyFarma pharmacies, located at two branches detailed in the study, was selected. A virtual survey was used to collect data. Data processing was conducted using the SPSS 25 statistical program, complemented with descriptive analysis, tables, and figures, each with its own interpretation. A relationship was found between pharmaceutical care and perceived satisfaction among FamilyFarma customers in Santa Anita, with a Spearman's Rho coefficient of 0.228, indicating a low direct relationship. This suggests that improved pharmaceutical care leads to increased satisfaction. For the objectives related to orientation, dispensing, pharmacotherapeutic follow-up, health education, consultation, and rational use, Spearman's Rho coefficient was used, finding that in most cases, there is a significant direct and moderate relationship between the dimension and the stated variable. In the humanistic objective, a low direct relationship was observed. Methodology: The study employed a deductive and descriptive approach, with a sample of 250 users from Boticas Popular Farma located in two branches detailed in the research. A survey was applied for data collection, and data processing was performed using SPSS version 25. Descriptive analysis, tables, and figures, each with its own interpretation, were also included. A relationship was found between pharmaceutical care and the perceived satisfaction of users at Boticas Popular Farma in the Comas district, with a Spearman’s Rho coefficient of 0.227, indicating a low but direct relationship. This suggests that improvements in pharmaceutical care lead to improved user satisfaction. Regarding the study objectives, guidance, dispensing, pharmacotherapeutic follow-up, health education, consulting, and rational use of medications, Spearman's Rho coefficient indicated a significant, direct, and moderate relationship between dimensions and the variable. For the humanistic objective, a low but direct relationship was found. Método: Fue una investigación básica, utilizó un enfoque cuantitativo y un método hipotético-deductivo; con un diseño no experimental de corte transversal y un alcance descriptivo correlacional. La muestra fue de 375 usuarios, utilizando como instrumento, un cuestionario. Los datos fueron procesados con el software estadístico SPSS 25 y se utilizó la prueba no paramétrica Rho de Spearman. El instrumento desarrollado fue validado por tres expertos, adquiriendo un valor de Alfa de Cronbach α = 0.83, lo que indica una alta confiabilidad. Resultados, en el análisis inferencial se halló una significancia de p-valor=0,000 y un Rho=0,298 entre las variables. Las dimensiones de estudio, planificación Rho= 0,240 y un p-valor=0,000 abastecimiento Rho=0,221 y p-valor=0,000 en relación al almacenamiento se obtuvo un p-valor= 0,037 y Rho de 0,108, asimismo, en la distribución se obtuvo Rho= 0,351 con una significancia de p-valor=0,000 uso racional Rho= 0,232 y un p-valor= 0.000. Lima 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-11-08) Quispe Candía, José Roberto; Caldas Herrera, EmmaThe objective of this study was to evaluate the relationship between the quality of care and external user satisfaction in the cytostatic pharmacy at the Hospital Santa Rosa. The method used was hypothetical-deductive, applied, quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional, and non-experimental. A questionnaire with 19 questions (13 for quality of care and 6 for external user satisfaction) was applied to 230 patients. Results: The quality of care in the cytostatic pharmacy at Hospital Santa Rosa, Lima 2022, was rated as regular (6.1%), good (87%), and very good (7%). Likewise, user satisfaction in the cytostatic pharmacy at Hospital Santa Rosa, Lima 2022, showed the following ratings: slightly satisfied (1.3%), satisfied (92.6%), and very satisfied (6.1%). Regarding the quality of care in five dimensions, most results showed good performance: reliability (53.9%), responsiveness (71.3%), safety (62.6%), empathy (62.2%), and tangibility (64.3%). Regarding external user satisfaction, in its three dimensions, the results predominantly showed satisfied users: humanistic dimension (67.8%), technological-scientific dimension (72.2%), and environment dimension (80.9%). The method used was hypothetical-deductive, the type was applied, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional, and correlational design. The population consisted of 1,050 residents of the district of Lurín who attended the pharmacy under study, and the sample included 282 people. Results: It was evidenced that the service quality provided by the Joem Farma II pharmacy was high at 85.1%, which led to 84.4% of the users feeling satisfied with the service provided, according to the opinions and perceptions of the respondents. The Spearman's Rho correlation test obtained a value of 0.000, indicating a relationship between the study variables. The research method applied was deductive, with a quantitative approach. The research design was non-experimental, since no variables were manipulated. The sample consisted of 385 users who attended the Inkafarma pharmacy and received services at this pharmaceutical establishment. Lima – Perú 2017(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2017) López Segura, Yessenia Virginia; Galvez Ramirez, Carlos MichellEl presente trabajo de investigación tuvo por objetivo general determinar las características de la automedicación odontológica en usuarios de una farmacia del distrito de Jesús María. Lima – Perú 2017. Siendo creado en el proceso un instrumento de evaluación. La muestra estuvo conformada por 191 usuarios que acudieron a una cadena de boticas ubicada en el distrito de Jesús María a quienes se les realizó un cuestionario sobre prescripción farmacológica. Los datos obtenidos fueron procesados por el programa estadístico SPSS versión 22 empleando la prueba estadística Chi cuadrado. Obteniendo como resultado que el 62,8% de los usuarios presentan auto prescripción farmacológica, de los cuales el 44,2% esta representados por usuarios del género masculino y 55,8% por usuarios del género femenino, que la edad en la que se da con mayor frecuencia la auto prescripción fue entre los 18 a 44 años de edad con un 60%, seguido por los consumidores de 45 a 60 años con un 24,2% y por último los consumidores mayores a 61 años de edad con un 15,8%. Asimismo, se encontró que las consumidores con mayor auto prescripción farmacología presentan un grado de instrucción Secundaria con un 42,5%; que la causa más frecuente de auto prescripción fue el dolor dental con un 68,3% y que el grupo de fármaco más consumido por los usuarios que se auto prescriben fueron los AINEs. El estudio concluye que la principal característica del consumo de fármacos por afecciones de origen odontológico por adultos del distrito de Jesús María fue la auto prescripción.Publicación Acceso abierto Clima organizacional y satisfacción laboral en los profesionales de salud de farmacia del Hospital Dos de Mayo - 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-06-27) Chuquillanqui Taipe, Gabriela; Hermoza Moquillaza, Rocío VictoriaThe present investigation was carried out with the objective of determining if there is a relationship between the organizational climate and job satisfaction in health professionals of the Pharmacy Department of the National Hospital Dos de Mayo 2023. The research work has a quantitative, correlational, design approach non-experimental and cross section. The population was 125 health professionals who work in the Hospital Pharmacy Department, from which a sample of 83 health professions was obtained by census sampling. The technique used for data collection was the survey, the instruments used were a questionnaire on Organizational Climate and another on Job Satisfaction. The results obtained were that among the workers with an unhealthy organizational climate, 75.0% were at a level of job dissatisfaction; while, among the workers with a level of healthy organizational climate, 76.2% stated that they were satisfied at work. Finally, among the workers with an organizational climate to improve, 74.1% were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied at work. Added to the fact that a correlation coefficient equal to 0.730 was obtained, which indicates a positive relationship between the organizational climate and job satisfaction, that is, when the organizational climate improves, job satisfaction also does. After which we can conclude that there is a relationship between the organizational climate and job satisfaction in health professionals of the Pharmacy Department of Hospital Dos de Mayo. Likewise, 69.9% of the staff consider that to improve the Organizational Climate and 75% are at the average level of Job Satisfaction, therefore it is recommended to evaluate the causes and work on strategies in order to improve the Organizational Climate and in this way improve the Job Satisfaction of professionals.Publicación Acceso abierto Comparación del cumplimiento de las buenas prácticas de almacenamiento en la droguería Bios Perú S.A.C. entre el 2018 y 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-03-16) De La Roca Contreras, Delia Yoly; Tordoya Salazar, María Ximena; Ramos Jaco, Antonio GuillermoCurrently, the storage of medications in Peru is verified by DIGEMID, which has adapted strict regulations in the country using the BPA (Good Storage Practices) Manual since 2015. The present research titled "COMPARISON OF THE COMPLIANCE WITH GOOD STORAGE PRACTICES IN BIOS PERU S.A.C. BETWEEN 2018 AND 2021" studied the changes between 2018 and 2021 through document analysis. Objective: To compare the compliance with Good Storage Practices (BPA) at BIOS PERU S.A.C. in 2018 and 2021. Methodology: Analytical-deductive approach with a quantitative focus, basic research type, non-experimental design, longitudinal scope, and descriptive reach. Results: The compliance differences between 2018 and 2021 were 25%, 100%, 33%, 0%, 7%, 40%, and 0% in the dimensions of Quality System, Personnel, Facilities, Equipment and Instruments, Documentation, Complaints, and Self-Inspections, respectively. Conclusions: The level of compliance with Good Storage Practices (BPA) at BIOS PERU S.A.C. between 2018 and 2021 was compared, revealing a percentage difference due to the lack of improvements in various areas. The findings also highlighted discrepancies with DIGEMID's verdict, showing the flexible nature of the inspection report.Publicación Acceso abierto Conocimientos y actitudes sobre el uso del anticonceptivo oral de emergencia en internos de farmacia en la Universidad Norbert Wiener, enero–mayo 2017(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-07-11) Espinoza Huamanchumo, Martha Melissa; López Mendoza, Elinda; Crispín Pérez, VíctorThe aim of this research was to determine the knowledge and attitudes regarding the use of Emergency Oral Contraceptives (EOC) among pharmacy interns. This was an observational, descriptive, and cross-sectional study conducted with 101 interns from Norbert Wiener University. The results showed that the majority age group was 25 to 32 years (64%), with an average age of 29 years (range 21–36). Of the participants, 74% were female and 26% male; 84% identified as Catholic, 87% were single, and 82% had no children. Furthermore, 96% engaged in work activities in pharmacies/drugstores in addition to their internship duties, 81% were hospital interns, and 16% were in pharmaceutical warehouses. Knowledge was generally good regarding the mechanism of action (80%), active ingredient (82%), its non-abortive nature (78%), timeframe of use (85%), and lack of STI prevention (79%). It was regular in terms of indication (70%) and poor when considered a family planning method (55%). Attitudes were favorable toward recommending it in cases of rape (90%), to prevent pregnancy (85%), and to a family member (79%), but unfavorable regarding its distribution in health centers (58%). Practices were adequate, with appropriate reasons for use (97%), without medical prescription (88%), with medical prescription (62%), frequency of use (37% reported 1–2 times per year), and reporting of adverse effects (83%). The research methodology had a quantitative approach, was basic in type, descriptive in level, with a non-experimental and cross-sectional design. The study population consisted of 1,600 users who attended the Farmaclas pharmacy located in the Villa El Salvador district. A probabilistic sample was taken, applying a statistical formula, resulting in 310 users. These users were evaluated using a research instrument validated through a panel of three subject-matter experts and reliability confirmed using Cronbach's alpha, with a pilot test conducted prior to data collection (α = 0.868). Lima 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-11-08) Merino Pérez, Cheryl; Caldas Herrera, EmmaThe purpose of this thesis study was to analyze the "compliance with good prescription practices in prescriptions handled by the Unit Dose Pharmacy of the National Institute of Child Health San Borja in 2022." The methodology of this research was observational, descriptive, prospective, and cross-sectional. A sample of 385 medical prescriptions was randomly selected, and the statistical program SPSS 25.0 was used for data analysis. For data collection, a verification sheet was designed as an instrument, validated by highly qualified expert professionals. It was determined that 100% of the medical prescriptions had some form of deficiency or omission when prescribing treatments. Regarding the results, it was evidenced that 100% included patient last names and first names, phone numbers, medical history, age, and ICD-10 codes. Additionally, 100% used the International Nonproprietary Name (INN), and 100% recorded the drug concentration. In the medical prescriptions, 75.5% included posology, 100% indicated the quantity, and 82.9% specified the pharmaceutical form. Regarding prescriber details, 100% of the prescriptions included the prescription date, but 100% lacked an expiration date. The objective was to evaluate the overall compliance with good prescription practices in standard medical prescriptions attended at Mi Perú Pharmacy, Los Olivos 2022. The method used was deductive, with a quantitative approach, basic in nature, and a non-experimental design. This study included a population of 607 users, from which a non-probabilistic sample of 305 users was studied, applying the observation technique through a checklist comprising 17 indicators: 06 for prescriber data, 07 for medication data, and 04 for patient data. When evaluating the overall compliance with good prescription practices, it was found that the indicators were met. Similarly, for the dimensions of prescriber data, medication data, and patient data, the indicators were also met. Methodology: Deductive method, quantitative approach, basic type, descriptive level, non-experimental, retrospective cross-sectional design. The technique used was observation with the observation guide as the instrument. The population and sample consisted of 6 pharmacies from the Farmysalud pharmacy chain, with non-probabilistic intentional sampling. Results: Regarding infrastructure, compliance was high at 66.6%; for internal organization, compliance was high at 83.3%; for personnel, compliance was high at 55.6%; and for handling and distribution techniques, compliance was high at 66.6%. The current survey was conducted from May to October 2022. Objective: To evaluate the Good Dispensing Practices (GDP) of antibiotics in pharmacies in the district of Ate, Lima, 2022. The method used was a deductive, cross-sectional, and prospective design. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire, with a sample of 384 individuals who presented antibiotic prescriptions at pharmacies in the Ate district. Five dimensions were evaluated: Clarity of information, Information about the medication, Service offering, Dosage instructions, and Cordiality by the dispenser. Results: GDP of antibiotics was observed at 71%, with the dimensions Clarity of information and Cordiality by the dispenser showing the highest compliance at 98% and 85%, respectively. In the case of Information about the medication, compliance was 84%, with 16% non-compliance. For Service offering, the percentages were 74% compliance and 26% non-compliance, and for Dosage instructions, the values were 76% compliance and 24% non-compliance. Conclusion: The non-compliance with good dispensing practices still shows high percentages, which may lead to issues related to irrational use and self-medication, directly affecting the population's health.
