Publicación Acceso abierto Factores asociados al consumo frecuente de inhibidores selectivos de la 5-fosfodiesterasa y reacciones adversas en una botica del distrito de Lince – 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-05-18) Saavedra Aguilar, Emerita; Villalobos Juárez, Silvia Elva; Alvarado Chávez, BrittThe objective of this research was to determine the relationship between factors associated with the frequent consumption of selective 5-phosphodiesterase inhibitors and adverse reactions in users at a drugstore in the Lince district in 2021. The methodology employed was a deductive method, with a quantitative approach, basic research type, and a non-experimental correlational design. The sample consisted of 165 users visiting a drugstore in the Lince district. The data collection technique was a survey, and the instrument was a questionnaire using a Likert measurement scale, validated by three experts from the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry. Results: Of the 165 users, 53.9% (n=89) had a high consumption of 5-phosphodiesterase inhibitors, and 46.1% (n=76) had a regular consumption. Regarding adverse reactions, 6.1% (n=10) were very frequent, 47.9% (n=79) were frequent, and 46.1% (n=76) were infrequent. Conclusion: A moderate correlation exists (Rho=0.688,p=0.000) between factors associated with the frequent consumption of selective 5-phosphodiesterase inhibitors and adverse reactions.Publicación Acceso abierto Prevalencia y actitudes frente al consumo de los inhibidores de la fosfodiesterasa 5 en usuarios de la botica Virgen de la Asunción, distrito de Carabayllo, 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-11-20) Ramirez Gonzales, Karina Gianella; Rodríguez Huamán, Yaqui; Parreño Tipián, Juan ManuelThe main objective of the study was “to determine the prevalence and attitudes toward the consumption of phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors among users of the Virgen de la Asunción Pharmacy, district of Carabayllo, 2023.” This was a basic research study, using the deductive method, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional, and descriptive-level design. The sample consisted of 165 users who attended the pharmacy under study, selected through simple random probability sampling. The technique applied was a survey, and the instrument used was a questionnaire. Results: It was found that the acquisition of phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors among users was mostly without a medical prescription (53.3%). Regarding the male sexual disorder dimension, the level was high (44.2%), while the risk factors dimension was moderate (70.9%). It was also determined that the risks assumed by users in consuming phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors were high (79.4%). Social environment had a strong influence among consumers (85.5%), and most consumed the drugs without clinical reasons (89.1%). Conclusion: The prevalence of consumption of phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors among users of the Virgen de la Asunción Pharmacy was high (64.8%), and consumer attitudes were found to be inadequate (85.5%).
