Muscle strength, load capacity, and flexibility decrease in older adults; for example, in Colombia, nearly 70% of older adults show a reduction in strength and flexibility. The sample consisted of 80 physiotherapists selected based on specific criteria, with random sampling. 31.3% of male physiotherapists almost never use musculoskeletal injury prevention strategies, and 15% sometimes use them. Conclusions: Nearly half of the surveyed physiotherapists almost never use musculoskeletal injury prevention strategies. The largest percentage of surveyed physiotherapists, based on age, are between 30 and 34 years old and almost never use prevention strategies. According to the area of work, the highest percentage of surveyed physiotherapists work in traumatology and orthopedics and almost never use prevention strategies.
