Depression and quality of life in elderly adults residing in a vulnerable area of San Martín de Porres, Lima - 2021

Objective: The objective of the study was to determine the relationship between depression and quality of life in older adults residing in a vulnerable area in San Martin de Porres, Lima - 2021. Material and methods: The present study had a quantitative approach, its methodological design was correlational-cross-sectional. The sample was made up of 130 participants. The data collection technique was the survey and the instruments used to measure the variables were the Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS) and the WHOQOL-OLD questionnaire.

Family functioning and resilience in adolescents from vulnerable families of the Huáscar human settlement, San Juan de Lurigancho, San Juan de Lurigancho, 2020

Aim. It will be to determine the relationship between family functioning and resilience in adolescents from vulnerable families in the Huáscar human settlement, San Juan de Lurigancho, 2020. Materials and methods. Study of the descriptive correlational level of non-experimental cross-sectional design. The population and sample: will be focused on 120 adolescents from vulnerable families of the A.H. Huáscar, in the district of San Juan de Lurigancho. This research has been developed in the field of family and community health nursing, considering the role that this professional segment plays with respect to family functioning and resilience in adolescents from vulnerable sectors, in order to determine the relationship between these two aspects and obtain data. that allow taking actions aimed at optimizing healthy family coexistence and, above all, promoting a healthy environment for the development and training of adolescents and, to that extent, preventing situations from arising that put their mental, physical or emotional health at risk. . The technique used will be the survey and the instruments that will be used will be the Family Functioning Test (FF-SIL), consisting of 14 questions, and the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) of 25 questions.

La Justicia de Paz en las poblaciones vulnerables de la Comunidad Campesina de Alloca, Lima, 2023

La justicia de paz es un medio de integración de órdenes legales y sistemas normativos diferentes que operan en un mismo Estado. Se buscó determinar e impacto de la justicia de paz en las poblaciones vulnerables de la Comunidad campesina de Alloca, Lima, 2023.La metodología utilizada fue de enfoque cualitativo, de tipo descriptivo, con estudio de caso. Los resultados revelan el impacto de la justicia de paz en las poblaciones vulnerables para su acceso al servicio de justicia; el impacto negativo del centralismo legal en los mismos grupos por considerar la igualdad formal entre ciudadanos que no tienen acceso ni garantías de ciertos derechos; y el impacto positivo del pluralismo legal para integrar a estas poblaciones vulnerables en el ordenamiento legal. Se concluye el impacto de la justicia de paz en las poblaciones vulnerables como apertura a la justicia intercultural, el impacto negativo del centralismo legal por no considerar la igualdad material ni la costumbre como fuente del derecho en lugar de la ley solamente, y el impacto positivo del pluralismo legal por constituir una visión que procura la coexistencia y diálogo entre órdenes legales diversos y sistemas normativos distintos.
