Por tanto, este estudio es fundamental para comprender y contribuir a la formulación de medidas de manejo adecuadas sobre esta enfermedad. El estudio utilizó un diseño descriptivo, retrospectivo, observacional y transversal. La población de estudio estuvo compuesta por personas diagnosticadas con dengue en Tocache. Los datos se recopilaron mediante análisis documental, que incluyó el análisis de los registros epidemiológicos y resultados de las pruebas de detección (NETLAB) de los pacientes durante el período especificado. Entre enero 2023 y julio 2024 se estudiaron 1 081 pacientes con dengue confirmado (61,7 %). La incidencia aumentó de 40,2 % en 2023 a 59,8 % en 2024. Predominaron adultos de 18–29 años (24,7 %) y 30–44 años (24,1 %) con distribución equitativa por sexo (50,5 % mujeres). El 95,7 % presentó dengue sin signos de alarma, 4,2 % con signos de alarma y 0,2 % formas graves. La notificación activa explicó 35,9 % de los casos y la pasiva 64,1 %. Se identificó un pico estacional entre marzo y mayo (56,8 %). En conclusión, el estudio revela un incremento de casos de dengue en Tocache entre 2023 y 2024, con mayor concentración en adultos jóvenes y presentación mayoritariamente sin signos de alarma. Estos hallazgos subrayan la necesidad de reforzar campañas de vigilancia estacional y estrategias de educación sanitaria para reducir la carga de la enfermedad.Ítem Acceso abierto Knowledge about healthy lunchboxes according to sociodemographic characteristics of mothers of primary school children: "Centro Educativo Particular Líder Ingenieros UNI", San Juan de Lurigancho district, Lima(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-06-14) Siña Ticona, Esperanza Cecilia; Valencia Alvarado, Nelly Alejandra; Krederdt Araujo, Sherin LuzObjective: determine the level of knowledge about healthy lunch boxes of mothers of primary school children at the Líder Ingenieros UNI Private Educational Center. Materials and methods: the study was quantitative, cross-sectional and descriptive. The population was made up of mothers of 114 children of both sexes at the primary level enrolled during the 2016 school year. The survey technique and the questionnaire instrument validated by Canales Huapaya were used. Results: 21% of the mothers had low knowledge, 64% medium knowledge and 15% high knowledge. It is also highlighted that in 4 of the 6 dimensions they had knowledge of low carbohydrates (53%), proteins (57%), minerals (70%). and fats (63%); He had medium knowledge of the vitamin dimension (62%) and high knowledge of the water dimension (85%). Conclusion: Mothers of primary school children have a medium level of knowledge, with a tendency toward low knowledge about healthy lunch boxes. It was observed that 4 of the 6 dimensions had low knowledge, carbohydrates, proteins, minerals and fats; In the vitamin dimension they had medium knowledge and only in the water dimension did they obtain high knowledge.Ítem Acceso abierto Profile of children diagnosed with autism in Hospital II Essalud Cañete between 2018 and 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-03-14) Tisza Torres, Maricielo Karolay; Calderón Castillo, Rosa AngelaIntroduction: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is on the rise; therefore, early detection and timely treatment, along with awareness of the issue, will improve care for children. Objective: To describe the characteristics of children diagnosed with autism at Hospital II EsSalud Cañete between 2018 and 2023. Material and Methods: A quantitative, non-experimental, descriptive cross-sectional study with a sample of 80 children diagnosed with autism. Medical records provided by the Hospital II EsSalud Cañete of the Rebagliati Network were used. Results: The average age was 6.08 years, and the average age of diagnosis was 3.06 years. 78.8% were male. 93.7% had a delay in language development, 90.0% had behavioral problems, and 86.3% exhibited repetitive habits. Among the profiles, the cognitive profile was moderate at 83.8%, the sensory profile at 63.7%, the psychosocial profile at 60.0%, and the behavioral profile at 68.8%. Conclusion: There is a need for a comprehensive evaluation of each child with ASD, considering their individual characteristics, prenatal history, and sociodemographic context, in order to provide treatments tailored to their needs.Ítem Acceso abierto Sociodemographic, cultural, and economic characteristics of women over 18 years old with abortion at Hospital Nacional Hipólito Unanue between January and October 2015(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 1905-07-07) Martina Vásquez, Anita; Ruiz Franco, Melissa; Caldas Herrera, Maria EvelinaIn the present study, a methodology is used to determine the sociodemographic, cultural, and economic characteristics of women over 18 years old who had an abortion at the Hipólito Unanue National Hospital between January and October of 2015. It was revealed that the sociodemographic characteristics include: early age, cohabiting marital status, secondary education level, currently working, being from the coastal region, residing in El Agustino, and experiencing psychological family pressure due to economic instability. Additionally, the cultural characteristics highlighted include: machismo, due to the lack of partner participation in household chores, a situation unfortunately justified by the respondents; and the Catholic religion, which most respondents profess. Finally, the most notable economic characteristics are: a monthly income between 600 and 1000 soles, monthly expenses less than 600 soles, three people living in the household, no economic dependency, two family members contributing to household expenses, and living in a brick-built house.
