Ítem Acceso abierto Factors associated with the acceptance of post-abortion contraceptive methods(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-11-27) Oporto Carrión, Brunela Estefania; Sanz Ramirez, Ana MaríaObjective: To systematize evidence on factors associated with the acceptance of post-abortion contraceptive methods. Materials and Methods: This study is a systematic review that included a total of 485 indexed articles selected from Pubmed, Scielo, LILACS, and Cochrane Database. The most common obstetric factors included multiparity, a history of abortion, and prior contraceptive use. Among institutional factors, the most frequent were being treated in a public facility, counseling provided at the health center, and understanding of the counseling. Conclusions: There are personal, obstetric, and institutional factors associated with post-abortion contraception.
