Carrión sede 7811-2022. Materiales y métodos: Es un estudio cuantitativo, no experimental, de corte transversal, correlacional y aplicada, estuvo incluida la población de 84 docentes del IST Daniel A. Carrión sede 7811. Se utilizó como técnicas de estudio la encuesta y observacional. Como instrumentos el cuestionario y METODO REBA modificado. Resultados: Se observa un valor de p<0,05 podemos concluir, a un nivel de significación del 5%, la cual rechaza la hipótesis nula; es decir que el desempeño laboral tiene relación de intensidad alta e inversa (rho=-0,810) con los factores de riesgo ergonómico de los docentes del IST Daniel A. Carrión sede 7811-2022, lo cual ha sido corroborado mediante el coeficiente de correlación rho de Spearman; asimismo, el valor del coeficiente de correlación es R=0.771.Ítem Acceso abierto Relationship between body posture and temporomandibular joint disorders in an adult population – 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-06-21) Arenas Eulatth, Marjorie Desirée; Chumpitazi Huapaya, Alfonso FaustinoPoor posture today represents one of the major ailments that significantly affects people's health, due to the structural imbalance that occurs when there is an alteration in body biomechanics, and its relationship with the development of occupational diseases such as painful musculoskeletal disorders or temporomandibular joint disorders, which, according to epidemiological reports, indicate a current prevalence of 45% in the global population. Objective: The general objective of this research is to evaluate the relationship between body posture and TMJ disorders in an adult population – 2023. Materials and Methods: The study was observational, cross-sectional, and prospective, with the population consisting of 90 students from Universidad Norbert Wiener. The technique was observational, and a data collection form was used to record body posture using the New York Posture Test (NYPR) and the Fonseca Anamnestic Index through a survey technique to assess temporomandibular joint disorders. Results: The description of body posture in the evaluated adult population revealed that 77.8% had good body posture, and 22.2% had poor body posture. The description of TMJ disorders showed that 68.9% had no discomfort, while 31.1% did. It was concluded that there is a statistically significant relationship between body posture and TMJ disorders in the evaluated adult population.Ítem Acceso abierto Temporomandibular disorders in relation to body posture in students of the 6th and 7th cycle of the dentistry career of the Norbert Wiener Private University, Lima-Peru 2019.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-03-16) Herencia De La Torre, Geraldinne Mariell; Vilchez Bellido, DinaThe objective of this study was to determine if there was an association between temporomandibular disorders (TMD) and body posture in students from the 6th and 7th cycles of the Dentistry program at the Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener in Lima, Peru, during 2019. The study was observational, analytical, non-experimental, cross-sectional, and prospective. The research was conducted at the Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, with a sample of 95 students from the 6th and 7th cycles. Clinical examination using Helkimo's index for TMD and the Adams test to assess body posture were used as data collection instruments. Regarding TMD distribution, moderate severity predominated in females (23.2%), in the younger age group (26.3%), and in the 7th cycle (21.1%). Regarding body posture alterations, it predominated in females (51.6%), in the younger age group (54.7%), and in the 6th cycle (38.9%). The study found that 70.53% of students had both alterations, with a p-value of less than 0.001, demonstrating an association between temporomandibular disorders and body posture in the students.
