Material and Methods: The systematic review of 10 scientific articles found on the effectiveness of hydrocolloid dressings in the healing of pressure ulcers in adult patients were sourced from the following databases: Cochrane, Lilacs, Scielo, Medline, Pubmed, and Epistemonikos. All of them were analyzed according to the GRADE scale to determine their strength and quality of evidence. Results: Of the 10 articles reviewed, 20% (2/10) were systematic reviews with meta-analysis, 40% (4/10) were systematic reviews, 20% (2/10) were meta-analyses, and 20% (2/10) were clinical trials. The systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and clinical trials show that, of the 10 articles reviewed, 70% (7/10) indicate that hydrocolloid dressings are effective in the healing of pressure ulcers in adult patients, while 30% (3/10) show no significant differences between hydrocolloid dressings and other dressings. Conclusions: In 7 out of 10 articles, the effectiveness of hydrocolloid dressings in the healing of pressure ulcers in adult patients is evident. In 3 out of 10 articles, no significant differences are shown between hydrocolloid dressings and other dressings for the healing of pressure ulcers in adult patients.Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of laser therapy in healing grade II and III pressure ulcers in patients(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-12-01) Caldas Castañeda, Marina Glory; Arevalo Marcos, Rodolfo AmadoObjective: Systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of the application of laser therapy in the healing of grade II and III pressure ulcers in patients. Material and Methods: Systematic review using the Grade evaluation system to identify the level of evidence, found in the following databases: PubMed, Scielo, Bvs, Cochrane, Lilacs, Medline bireme, Google Scholar. Likewise, of the total articles, 60% are systematic reviews, 30% are randomized controlled trials and 10% are controlled clinical trials. According to the Quality of Evidence found, 100% is High and the strength of recommendation is Strong. They come from the countries of Brazil (60%), the United States (10%), Poland (10%), England (10%) and Egypt (10%). Results: Results: They indicate that the application of laser therapy is 100% effective in healing grade II and III pressure ulcers in patients. Conclusion: The reviews demonstrate that the use of laser therapy at different wavelengths is 100% effective in healing grade II and III pressure ulcers, of which laser therapy at low wavelengths is 90% more effective. while 10% confirm the effectiveness of high wavelength laser therapy.Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of nursing interventions for the prevention of pressure ulcers in the ICU(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-02-17) Bullón Trujillo, Flor de Maria; Cárdenas de Fernández, María HildaMaterial and Method: The systematic exploration of the 9 scientific articles that deal with the evidence on the effectiveness of nursing interventions to prevent pressure ulcers in the ICU, were in the subsequent databases Cochrane, Lilacs, Scielo, Medline Pubmed , these were examined according to the Grade scale to establish their strength and quality of evidence. Results: Of the 09 articles reviewed, 100% agree that pressure ulcers are preventable and that nursing providing comprehensive care can control them. Conclusions: According to this review, it can be said that nursing plays an essential role in care to prevent and control pressure injuries and its interventions must be directed towards the specific needs of each patient.Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of zinc oxide paste in treating venous ulcers and pressure ulcers(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-01-06) Zambrano Guimaray, Julia Isabel; Calsin Pacompia, WilmerObjective: Analyze and systematize the effectiveness of zinc oxide paste on venous ulcers and pressure ulcers Material and Method: This is a quantitative study with a systematic review design, which summarizes the results of different investigations. There was a population of 35 articles, the sample consisted of 10 articles which were subjected to a fairly critical reading, the GRADE system was used to establish the strength of recommendation. Results: 90% of the articles demonstrated that the use of zinc oxide paste facilitated the healing process of venous ulcers and pressure ulcers; Likewise, 30% were effective as anti-inflammatories and cost reduction respectively. 20% of the articles reported the ability to protect the injury. Conclusions: The effectiveness of zinc oxide paste in venous ulcers and ulcers was demonstrated. pressure facilitating the healing process of perilesional skin, protection of the injury, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial effect and cost reduction.Ítem Acceso abierto Nursing care and prevention of pressure injuries in bedridden patients in the ICU service at Ate Vitarte Emergency Hospital 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-02-27) Vílchez Espejo, Fiorella Noemi; Cárdenas de Fernández, María HildaThe present research work aims to determine how the nursing care of the nursing staff can prevent the appearance of pressure injuries in bedridden patients in the critical unit of the Ate Vitarte Hospital. It is explained how appropriate mobilization techniques and using the appropriate materials and accessories can prevent pressure injuries. In this way, we seek to demonstrate that there is a relationship between the knowledge of nursing staff about mobilization techniques for critically ill patients and can prevent pressure injuries in this type of patient. The study is carried out on critically ill and bedridden patients because according to statistics, these types of patients show a higher incidence of pressure injuries (PLP), also because PPL is considered an indicator that measures the quality of nursing care in patients.Ítem Acceso abierto Nursing care to prevent pressure ulcers in adults(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-06-30) Espinoza Valenzuela, María Luz; García Vásquez, Geraldine; Cárdenas de Fernández, María HildaIn the final selection, 14 articles were chosen, we found that 40% (06) correspond to studies carried out in Spain, with 25% (03) correspond to Colombia, while 25% (03) are studies from Brazil, 20 %(02) Australia. The majority have been studied Systematic Review with 50% (07), Clinical Trials with 30% (03), Quantitative Descriptives 20% (02), Quantitative Cohort 10% (10) and Convergent Care 10% (01). mainly in the countries of Europe 40% (06), Latin America 40% (60) and Oceania 20% (02).Conclusions: Nursing care to prevent pressure ulcers in adult patients is the use of risk assessment scales to develop PUs, use of transparent polyurethane film, skin care and hydration, use of fatty acids hyperoxygenated, use of special surfaces for pressure management (SEMP), incontinence management, nutritional monitoring, use of highly specific mattresses There is little evidence of the effectiveness of mobilization in frequency and time for prevention of pressure ulcers, yet it is considered a pillar of nursing care for the prevention of pressure ulcers.Ítem Acceso abierto Predictive capacity of assessment scales in preventing pressure ulcers in adults(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-12-16) Barrientos Sulca, Sara; Oblitas Guerrero, Susan Miriam; Uturunco Vera, Milagros LizbethObjective: To systematize the available evidence on the predictive capacity of the valuation scales in the prevention of pressure ulcers in adults Material and method: Systematic observational and retrospective review, which synthesizes the results of multiple primary investigations. Essentials of evidence-based nursing for its rigorous methodology, identify relevant studies to answer specific clinical practice questions, search I consider full-text articles, and selected articles had a critical reading, using the grade system to assign the recommendation force.
