Ítem Acceso abierto Quality of nursing care and pressure injuries in patients in the intensive care unit in a national hospital in Lima 2024(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-06-09) Sandoval Zelada, Manuel Arsenio; Benavente Sanchez, Yennys KatiuscaObjective: To determine the relationship between the quality of nursing care and the occurrence of pressure ulcers in patients in the intensive care unit of a National Hospital in Lima, 2024. Population: Consisting of 80 patients hospitalized in the intensive care unit of a National Hospital in Lima from April to October 2024. Method: In this study framework, the hypothetical-deductive method will be used, with a quantitative approach, non-experimental, cross-sectional, and correlational. Sample: It will consist of 80 patients. The technique to be used is the survey, and the instrument is a questionnaire. To measure the variable "quality of nursing care," a Likert-type scale developed by Marcelo Mallqui will be used, and for the second variable, "pressure ulcers," the Braden Scale developed in 1985 will be used. Data Processing and Analysis: For statistical tests, the SPSS version 26.0 statistical software will be used, and for correlation analysis, the Spearman's Rho statistical test will be applied. Ethical Aspects: The research does not pose any harm to the patients of the institution under study, as all ethical principles were followed.
