Publicación Acceso abierto Análisis de huellas labiales de Renaud como método de identificación forense en estudiantes de una universidad privada año 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-08-31) Mendoza Corbetto, Marco Antonio; Neyra Rivera, Carlos DavidThe purpose of this research work is to validate the analysis of Reanud lip prints as a forensic identification method in students of a private university in 2023, through a type of applied research, with a non-experimental design and with a quantitative approach; with a sample of 132 students, using the observation as a technique and as an instrument the cheiloscopic file validated by Carvajal and others (2014) It was found that the type B groove was the most prevalent, with an 83.3% prevalence, that the commissure of the dejected type was exhibited as the most frequent, presenting in 68.9% of the cases and that the thickness of the medium lip was the most predominant with 66.7% Also, it was shown that lip impressions are unique with Renaud's analysis and the cheiloscopic pattern was not repeated in any of the 132 students, this method being valid as a method of forensic identification of people.Publicación Acceso abierto Efectividad del test inmunocromatográfico fob - hi rapid test - sangre oculta en heces en la detección de manchas de sangre de origen humano con fines forenses. Ica – 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-05-05) Angulo Angulo, Alexander Andre; Montellanos Cabrera, Henry SamObjective: to determine the effectiveness of the immunochromatographic FOB HI Rapid Test - fecal occult blood in the detection of blood stains of human origin for forensic purposes. Ica - 2022. Materials and methods: the hypothetical-deductive method was used, quantitative approach, applied type, experimental design, the sample consisted of 120 blood stains through a nonprobabilistic sampling by convenience, using human blood, animal and vegetable extract, the technique used is observation and the data collection instrument was an observation guide. Results: by means of the statistical test of the Lambda coefficient and the rho spearman coefficient, the immunochromatographic FOB HI Rapid Test shows a significant relationship (p= 0.00) in the detection of blood stains of human origin, as well as a sensitivity of 100%, specificity of 100%, positive predictive value of 100%, negative predictive value of 100% and a level of concordance of almost perfect (kappa index of 1.0). Conclusions: the immunochromatographic FOB HI Rapid test, is effective in the detection of blood stains of human origin for forensic purposes. In addition, because it has a high sensitivity and specificity value, it will not give false positives or false negatives. Because of its high concordance value, this test can be used in the identification of human hemoglobin regardless of the temperature or the environment in which the samples are found.Publicación Acceso abierto Programa Educativo Juntos contra la TBC, para mejorar conocimientos y actitudes sobre la prevención de Tuberculosis Pulmonar en estudiantes de primaria, Lima-2020(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-08-26) Celestino Marcelo, Mercedes Giovana; Yangali Vicente, Judith SoledadPulmonary tuberculosis is considered a global health problem and to date it has not been eradicated. The work was developed under the quantitative approach, quasi-experimental design and longitudinal cut, with a sample of 60 sixth grade students, 30 from the control group and 30 from the experimental group, using two questionnaires that measure knowledge and attitudes. The educational program was designed by 30 educational sessions, with a duration of 1 month. From the results, it was obtained to show the effectiveness of the program, improving the knowledge and attitudes in the students of the experimental group. In the same way, these results are expressed in the affective, cognitive and behavioral dimensions, concluding in the need for health education, as an educational strategy, making use of didactic methodologies in order to influence the knowledge and attitudes of students, promoting attitudes responsible for health.Publicación Acceso abierto Taller de colposcopia y su influencia en dominios al diagnóstico de cáncer cervical en estudiantes de una universidad peruana, 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-09-16) Guarniz Ordoñez, Ramón Milciades; Vásquez Tomás, Melba RitaCervical cancer is one of the very frequent diseases in our society, which causes high incidences of deaths in young and adult women, the objective of the research was to estimate the Influence of the colposcopy workshop in the domains of cervical cancer diagnosis in postgraduate students. degree from a National University of Lima - 2021. The study method is hypothetical deductive, with a quantitative approach, explanatory level, applied type, with experimental design and pre-experimental subtype. The sample was census, where 30 obstetrics graduates participated. Data collection was carried out using the conceptual domains questionnaire and a checklist of procedural and attitudinal domains. According to the validation of 5 expert judges, who assessed the validation criteria, a significant degree of agreement of 1.0 was obtained. The reliability of the instrument equals perfect validity. Being the pilot test with a number of 20 students of relation of the study population, applying the statistical test of Cronbach's alpha for the reliability of the instrument: questionnaire, of polytomous responses in the conceptual domains and applying the statistical test of reliability KR20 to The dichotomous response checklist instrument in the procedural and attitudinal domains. Using SPSS version 23, McNemar's design allowed to contrast the null hypothesis, between two measurements before and after, where the P value, resulting was .000, being less than the alpha value, rejecting the null hypothesis (Ho) In this way, it is concluded that the colposcopy workshop significantly influenced the domains of cervical cancer diagnosis in postgraduate students of Obstetrics from a National University in 2021, allowing 93.3% of the students to achieve excellent after the workshop. conceptual, procedural and attitudinal domains in cervical cancer detection.Publicación Acceso abierto Utilidad de pruebas inmunocromatográficas clínicas para detección de antígeno prostático específico aplicadas en muestras forenses de hisopados vaginales. Unidad Médico Legal II Lima Este, 2021-2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-06-22) Mauricio Olivera, José Alejandro; Casana Jara, Kelly MilagritosFor the analysis of Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA), the objective of the present study was to evaluate the usefulness of the clinical inmunochromatographic tests (PIC) ECOTEST, CTK BIOTECH and MONTEST in detecting PSA in forensic samples of vaginal swabs taken as evidence in cases of crimes against sexual freedom in the Legal Medical Unit II Lima East; 2021-2022. The research design is non-experimental, applied, cross-sectional, descriptive and comparative. Fifty vaginal swabs were analyzed; each swab was subjected to the seminal fluid recovery technique and inoculated in the wells of the ECOTEST, CTK BIOTECH and MONTEST ICP cassettes. The BLUESTAR Identi-PSA forensic immunochromatographic test (PIF) was considered as a reference test (gold standar). Similar excellent results were obtained for the three ICPs (ECOTEST, CTK-BIOTECH and MONTEST): Sensitivity of 100% (CI 95%=98.98%-100%), Specificity of 100% (CI 95%=97.62%-100%), Validity Index of 100% (CI 95%=99.00%-100%), Positive Predictive Value (PPV) of 100% (CI 95%=98.28%-100%), Negative Predictive Value (NPV) of 100% (CI 95%=97.62%-100%). Similar statistical results were also obtained for the three PICs: Youden Index with a value of 1.00, ROC Curve with an AUC =1.00 at 95% CI; and Cohen's Kappa Indices with a value of 1.000 and 0.000 standard error. Concluding the significant usefulness of ICP for the detection of PSA in forensic vaginal swab samples.
