The approach of the study is qualitative with phenomenological design. The information was collected through in-depth interviews applied to 03 teachers and 03 psychologists with training in psychonephrology, the analysis of results was carried out through the Atlas software. Ti 25 which allowed the description, analysis, interpretation and reflection of the lived experiences of the participants on the phenomenon of study. The discussion describes the meaning and meaning of the intervention processes of compassionate empathy articulated with the professional training of psychonephrologists in order to ensure that professionals are trained culturally competent, with full respect for diversity, interculturality and with an ethical sense. as deontological in every Psychonephrologist professional. It is concluded that in the scenario of psychological care for people with kidney disease with an intervention approach of compassionate empathy has an impact on people's quality of life. This demonstrates the implication and relevance for the community and society of meeting with a professional psychnephrologist with human and ethical principles, culturally competent and aware of their professional actions.
