Ítem Acceso abierto Factors associated with access to social nutritional programs in the Peruvian population, ENAHO 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-09-14) Puse Odar, Pamela Katherine; Lozada Urbano, Michelle FátimaIntroduction: Nutritional social programs are designed to promote healthy eating in the population. Objective: To determine the factors associated with access to nutritional social programs in the population of Peru according to the National Household Survey (ENAHO) in 2022. Methodology: A secondary data analysis was conducted using the ENAHO 2022 database. The independent variable was the associated factors, and the dependent variable was access to nutritional social programs. Results: Of 68,995 inhabitants, 60.4% were female, and the average age was 37.2 years. Furthermore, 32.3% of people accessed nutritional social programs, including Vaso de Leche (8.4%), Comedor Popular (2.2%), QALI WARMA breakfast (25.5%), and QALI WARMA lunch (6.9%). It was found that marital status (p<0.001), employment status (p<0.001), and cooking fuel (p<0.001) were associated with access to nutritional social programs. Conclusion: There are factors associated with access to nutritional social programs in the Peruvian population according to the ENAHO 2022, including marital status, employment status, and type of fuel.
