(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 1905-07-09) Robles Bocanegra, Tania Liz; Gamarra Bustillos, Carlos
Objectives: Determine the effectiveness of an educational program on knowledge and practices about healthy eating in parents of school-age children and make recommendations based on the evidence found. Materials and Methods: The search was carried out in Scielo, Lilacs, Lipecs, Medline, the information was oriented using the keywords effectiveness, educational program, knowledge, practices, food and nutrition. Where original articles published in journals were found between January 2006 and September 2016. Of a total of 25 articles, 10 articles that met the eligibility criteria were analyzed, including experimental, pre-experimental and quasi-experimental studies that met the inclusion criteria. and exclusion. The levels of evidence and strength of recommendation were then evaluated. Results: In the final selection, 10 were chosen, we found that 100% (n=10/10) of them affirm that the educational programs aimed at parents are effective in knowledge and practices about healthy eating. Conclusions: The application of an educational program has a positive impact on the knowledge and practices about healthy eating for parents of school-age children, generating healthy practices for parents in food preparation and children with adequate healthy growth and development. .

Efficacy of advanced neonatal cardiopulmonary resuscitation to reduce morbidity and mortality
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-07-11) Vicente Chávez, Silvia Natali; Ttira Meza, Margot; Pretell Aguilar, Rosa María
This is a systematic review study on scientific articles published in the main journals indexed worldwide, among others; Scielo, Scopus, Web of Science, Elsevier, Clarivate Analitics, Dialnet, Epistemonikos and Google academic, these were analyzed using the GRADE scale to establish their strength and degree of evidence. Of the set of studies analyzed, 50% correspond to the methodological design of systematic reviews, 40% randomized trials and 10% bibliographic review. Of which 80% present high quality and 20% low quality Results: 70% (7/10) tell us that advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation in newborns in a shorter amount of time reduces mortality and 30% (3/ 10) of the studies indicate that more research studies should be carried out to verify effectiveness.

Efficacy of an educational intervention on knowledge about healthy eating and physical activity in primary school students
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 1905-07-09) Fernández Paredes, Silvia Milagros; Huiza Guardia, Gladys Asunta; Krederdt Araujo, Sherin Luz
Objective: Determine the effectiveness of an educational intervention on knowledge about healthy eating and physical activity in primary school students. Material and methods: The Systematic Review [SR] with an observational and retrospective research design that synthesizes the results of 18 indexed scientific articles to answer the problem question of the present study. The algorithms and Boolean operators used were: primary level schoolchildren AND children, healthy eating OR nutrition, physical activity OR physical education, program OR intervention OR education. Results: Of the 18 scientific articles reviewed, 55% were from Spanish journals and the remaining 45% were from American journals (Chile, Mexico, Venezuela and Cuba). The country with the highest number of scientific articles on our continent is Mexico with 4 articles (22%). According to the design and type of study, 61% had a quasi-experimental design (n=11/18), only 11% were experimental, with approximately one-fifth (22%) of the studies being cross-sectional (n=4/18). 18).Conclusion: Among the most relevant findings, the educational intervention program on healthy eating and physical activity for primary school students is effective in increasing knowledge of healthy eating and physical activity, however, there is insufficient evidence. to show that they decrease overweight in primary school students.

Efficacy of forced hot air for the management of hypothermia in the perioperative period
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 1905-07-09) Moya Malasquez, Maria Isabel; Cuba Vergara, Lissete Pamela; Rivera Lozada de Bonilla, Oriana
Objective: Determine the effectiveness of forced hot air for the management of hypothermia in the perioperative period. Methodology: Systematic review that compiles 11 investigations published between 2006 and 2016, obtained from different databases and scientific journals. Results: This review presents the characteristics and effectiveness of forced hot air and its influence as a strategy in thermal management to reduce perioperative complications and thereby ensure an adequate temperature in the patient to achieve comfort and user satisfaction. Conclusions: The reviewed articles show us that the application of the forced air warming system is one of the most effective methods in maintaining perioperative normothermia, even in comparison with other methods to prevent hypothermia in the perioperative period. Likewise, active warming from the immediate preoperative period, associated with measures such as increasing the ambient temperature and active skin warming, are related to greater effectiveness in preventing perioperative hypothermia; highlighting the importance of temperature monitoring pre-, intra- and post-operatively, and its positive effects in maintaining normothermia during this stage, such as: prevention of infection of the surgical wound, reducing post-hospitalization time. operation, patient comfort, reduce postoperative pain, avoid bleeding, among other important complications.

Efficacy of using ultrasonography for the success of peripheral catheterization in patients with difficult venous access
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-02-16) Cardozo Rodriguez, José Gary; Escobar Valdivia, Jessica Jasmin; Rivera Lozada de Bonilla, Oriana
Objective: Systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of ultrasonography for the success of peripheral catheterization in patients with difficult venous access. Material and methods: This is a systematic review, where 10 scientific articles were reviewed, which were obtained from reliable sources such as scientific journals from around the world, mostly in English. Scientific articles were included that were related to the success or otherwise of peripheral venous cannulations through the use of ultrasonography guidance. Results: Of the 10 articles reviewed in this research, we can conclude that in 8 of the 10 articles reviewed it is mentioned that ultrasonography increases the success rate of peripheral catheterization, reducing the number of attempts, the time used and facilitating the insertion of larger caliber catheters, as well as in the other 2 remaining articles, it is concluded that the successful cannulations obtained in them were the same with or without the use of ultrasonography as a guide. Conclusion: The use of ultrasound guidance increases the success rate in the cannulation of peripheral intravenous lines, especially in patients with difficult venous access.

Renal failure (RI) is considered a progressive decrease in glomerular filtration. The acute phase begins suddenly and can be changeable, while the severe phase evolves rapidly over a period of 3 months and can lead to permanent kidney failure. Excessive intake of protein, phosphorus, nephrotoxic drugs, proteinuria, hyperlipidemia, are the agents for developing the disease, etc., this end-stage renal failure requires hemodialysis or hemodialysis technology as the only cure. Transplant. In the bibliographic review, the objective was defined to determine the level of knowledge and self-care practice of patients on hemodialysis for stage 5 chronic kidney disease, including self-care through continuous instruction. The present work is descriptive and the articles mentioned in the research They are indexed by scientific journals.
