Materials and Methods: A retrospective systematic review was carried out, which summarizes the findings of various primary studies. These investigations are an important part of evidence-based nursing to answer clinical questions. Thus, it was restricted to documents using the GRADE system, which allowed the recommendation power to be strengthened. Subsequently, the selected investigations were subjected to critical analysis. Results: Finally, 10 articles were selected, carried out in the present study, the active heating methods are efficient, although some seem to be more efficient than others. Better findings were obtained when warming was extended to the preoperative stage to reduce the occurrence of perioperative hypothermia. For this reason, intervention measures are necessary in order to prevent hypothermia and maintain normal temperature before and during the operation. Conclusions: Active warming methods were shown to be effective in maintaining perioperative normothermia. Being an effective measure (efficient and effective), since it increases body temperature and thermal comfort, patient satisfaction and facilitates venous cannulation, it reduces bleeding, infection of the surgical wound, mechanical ventilation time, use of fluids, vasodilators, morphine and antibiotics, blood pressure and cardiac disorders, reduces hospitalization time and costs. Warming during the intraoperative period is sufficient to effectively prevent hypothermia, both at this stage and in the postoperative period.Ítem Acceso abierto Factors associated with the quality of SOAPIE in the nursing care area at Luis Negreiros Vega Hospital, Callao - 2018(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-03-01) Huayhua Rojas, Maribel; Rodríguez Dávila, Shissy; Borda Izquierdo, AlejandroMaterials and methods: Quantitative, correlational and cross-sectional study. Personal and obstetric history, findings from the cardiotocographic trace according to the Fisher and NICHD tests, diagnosis, obstetric management, and a literature review for discussion of the cardiotocographic findings were included. The clinical case presented is of a 15-year-old primigravida at 39 weeks by the last menstrual period, admitted to the hospital in labor. During the progression, she presented maternal and fetal tachycardia, tachysystole, fever, and leukocytosis. The cardiotocographic trace of 62 minutes recorded a baseline of 160 beats per minute, normal variability, absence of accelerations, and the presence of a prolonged variable deceleration, abnormal uterine activity. According to the NICHD test, this corresponds to category II, and according to Fisher, it indicates a fetus in questionable condition. The pregnant woman delivered a stillborn infant with meconium-stained amniotic fluid with a foul odor. The author concludes that intrapartum fetal electronic monitoring is useful for identifying alterations in fetal heart rate related to chorioamnionitis; however, it does not predict the final perinatal outcome.Ítem Acceso abierto Knowledge about the care of the peripherally inserted percutaneous catheter in the nurses of the neonatal intensive care unit of the Daniel A. Each question has an option of 5 responses on a Likert scale: 1. Completely disagree; 2. Disagreement; 3. Undecided; 4. Agreement; 5. Totally agree. The score of the instrument ranges from a minimum of 31 points and a maximum of 155 points, the higher the score, the higher the level of uncertainty regarding the disease.Ítem Acceso abierto Use the software to morphometric analysis TPS.DIG v.2.2.3 in the identification of documentary falsifications by stamps(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-01-16) Guzmán Zecenarro, Luis Alonso; Ascarza Gallegos, Justo AngeloThis research aims to determine the usefulness of the TPS.Dig v.2.2.3 morphometric analysis software in identifying document forgeries by stamps. A forgery simulation was intentionally created, designing three seals from three fictitious institutions (Society of Forensic Medical Technologists, Costa Rican Society of Forensic Medical Technologists, and Chilean Society of Forensic Medical Technologists), two types of seals (automatic and rubber), and three types of paper (75 g/m2 bond paper, 180 g/m2 Nordic white paper, and 90 g/m2 Manila envelope). The seals were divided into two groups, with each group containing three designs. The first group consisted of “original seals” (automatic type) and the second group consisted of “fake seals” (rubber type). The investigation was descriptive, cross-sectional, quantitative, and correlational. The sample size was calculated based on the total national reports made in 2016, collected by the National Police. The sample consisted of 270 stamp impressions, which were distributed among each seal group and type of paper. The stamps were measured using the TPS.Dig software version 2.2.3, and the data collected were compared, showing morphometric differences between the stamps from both seal groups. It was concluded that the use of TPS.Dig v.2.2.3 morphometric analysis software is useful in document forgery investigations by stamps.
