The Method will be quantitative in approach, descriptive type, cross-sectional correlational; The population is made up of 88 older adults, which will be the entire sample. To measure our objectives, the Beck Anxiety Scale (BAI) instrument will be applied to measure the first variable and the Yesavage Geriatric Depression Scale to measure the second variable. Initially endemic to industrialized countries, they have significantly affected more disadvantaged countries, becoming the leading cause of death worldwide. Every year, more people die from these diseases than from any other cause. The origin of cardiovascular diseases is multifactorial, and the identification of cardiovascular risk factors was a significant breakthrough. Therefore, the general objective of this research will be to determine the cardiovascular risk factors in outpatient patients at the Sergio E. Bernales National Hospital, Lima-2020. The WHO region D risk prediction table will be applied, which evaluates indicators such as sex, age, blood pressure, tobacco use, and the presence or absence of diabetes mellitus. These indicators are cross-referenced to make combinations within a predictive table system based on established parametric charts, which will allow categorizing individuals into five risk levels: very low, low, medium, high, and very high. The population for carrying out this research will be made up of 30 patients who voluntarily attend the outpatient clinic of the Naña rehabilitation center and will undergo a test before treatment and then a test after receiving treatment. It was revealed that the sociodemographic characteristics include: early age, cohabiting marital status, secondary education level, currently working, being from the coastal region, residing in El Agustino, and experiencing psychological family pressure due to economic instability. Additionally, the cultural characteristics highlighted include: machismo, due to the lack of partner participation in household chores, a situation unfortunately justified by the respondents; and the Catholic religion, which most respondents profess. Finally, the most notable economic characteristics are: a monthly income between 600 and 1000 soles, monthly expenses less than 600 soles, three people living in the household, no economic dependency, two family members contributing to household expenses, and living in a brick-built house. Methodology: Observational, retrospective cross-sectional, case-control analytical design. Sample size consisted of 133 pregnant women with reactive HIV test results and 133 pregnant women without reactive HIV test results. Results: Educational level (p=0.0005) was associated with reactive HIV test results. Having more than one sexual partner (p=0.0002) was associated with reactive HIV test results. A history of STIs (p=0.0003) and being a sex worker (p=0.044) were associated with reactive HIV test results. The trimester of pregnancy (p=0.013) and drug use (p=0.010) were associated with a reactive HIV test result. Currently, type II DM is a public health issue, and its prevalence is one of the leading causes of death in the population, especially due to the chronic complications that arise during its progression, which involve high financial costs and monitoring for its management. This study aims to contribute to knowledge about the lifestyle habits of patients with type II DM who are cared for by nursing staff using the IMEVID scale. The results will facilitate the implementation of new strategies to optimize preventive-promotional activities and effectively address the identified issues in the six dimensions: Nutrition, physical activity, harmful habits, information about diabetes, emotional state, and therapeutic adherence. The final result will categorize healthy living conditions from 55 to 108 points, and unhealthy from 0 to 54 points. The study sample will be made up of 40 male patients from the Ñaña Rehabilitation Center and the technique will be the survey, which will be applied using the Eysenck Personality Inventory and a questionnaire to measure the alcoholism variable.
