Ítem Acceso abierto Risk factors associated with the recurrence of pregnancy in adolescents: systematic review 2014-2019.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-08-11) Huallpa Palomino, Danixa Mirresha; Alfaro Fernández, Paul RubénObjective: To determine the evidence from research articles on the risk factors associated with adolescent pregnancy recurrence. Methodology: Qualitative systematic review of secondary data. The sample consisted of 24 studies published between 2014 and 2019 that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The GRADE scale was used for assessment. The data obtained were used to compare studies according to the risk factors associated with adolescent pregnancy recurrence. Results: The sociodemographic factors that showed statistical significance were age between 10 to 16 years, with an OR greater than 1.31. Primary and secondary education had an OR greater than 1.91. Regarding marital status, being single had an OR of 4.53. Being a housewife had an OR greater than 2.80. Harmful habits such as alcoholism and smoking had an OR greater than 3.63. Concerning gynecological-obstetric factors, early menarche had an OR of 2.72, starting sexual relations before 15 years old had an OR greater than 2.8, having more than 3 sexual partners had an OR of 3.03, not using contraceptives had an OR greater than 1.88, and an unplanned current pregnancy had an OR of 6.33. Regarding psychosocial factors, family type had an OR greater than 1.18, and financial support from a partner had an OR of 3.33. Conclusion: The scientific evidence on the risk factors associated with adolescent pregnancy recurrence showed a high-level recommendation strength.
