Organizational climate and practice of personal values in the dentistry teacher of Norbert Wiener University, 2020.

The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between organizational climate and the practice of personal values in dental faculty members at the Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020. The sample consisted of 46 faculty members from the Dentistry faculty of this university. Methodology: The method used was hypothetical-deductive, with a quantitative approach, applied type, and correlational design. Results: In interpreting the cross-tabulation table between the Organizational Climate and Personal Values variables, we can state that the highest value was found in the combination of medium organizational climate and high personal values, with 28 respondents, followed by the combination of low organizational climate and high personal values, with 2 respondents, as well as the combination of low organizational climate and medium personal values, with 2 respondents. Conclusions: The results show that the degree of relationship between the variables organizational climate and personal values has a Spearman's Rho = 0.735, which indicates a positive and moderate relationship between the two variables. Therefore, the greater the practice of personal values by dental faculty, the better the organizational climate at the Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020.

Relationship between temporomandibular disorders and partial edentulism in patients attending the dental center of the Norbert Wiener Private University - Lima, 2023

The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between temporomandibular disorders (TMD) and partial edentulism in patients attending the Dental Center of the Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener in Lima in 2023. A quantitative approach was adopted, using a hypothetical deductive method, and an observational, correlational, non-experimental, cross-sectional research design. The study sample consisted of 169 partial edentulous patients attending the Dentistry department. The results indicated that 34.1% of female patients had mild TMD, while 20% of male patients had the same diagnosis. Additionally, 9.4% of adult women and 1.2% of adult men presented moderate TMD. In the elderly group, 8.2% of women and 6.5% of men showed mild TMD. Furthermore, a smaller proportion of younger patients, specifically 2.4% of women and 0.6% of men, displayed normal function. These results establish a statistically significant relationship between temporomandibular disorders and partial edentulism in the patients treated at the Dental Center of the Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener in Lima in 2023
