Factors associated with the perception of teleconsultation usability of patients at the Edgardo Rebagliati Martins National Hospital, 2023
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-08-10) Chura Alanoca, Reyna Sofia; Basurto Ayala, Patricia
Objective of the study: To determine the factors associated with the perception of teleconsultation usability among patients at the Edgardo Rebagliati Martins National Hospital, 2023. Methodology: Observational, descriptive, correlational, and cross-sectional study. The sample size consisted of 232 patients who attended teleconsultations in different specialties. The Telemedicine Usability Questionnaire was used to evaluate teleconsultation usability. Statistical analysis included univariate analysis (percentages) and bivariate analysis with the variables of interest using the Chi-square statistical test. Results: Factors associated with the perception of teleconsultation usability included educational level (p=0.005) and technical problems (p=0.000). The number of teleconsultations was associated with ease of use (p=0.015). Furthermore, the area of residence was linked to the perception of teleconsultation effectiveness (p=0.040). Finally, technical problems were associated with both effectiveness (p=0.000) and teleconsultation satisfaction (p=0.026). Conclusion: The identified factors associated with teleconsultation usability suggest improving the technical aspects of the platforms and providing digital health training to patients requiring this service as a support for in-person medical care.

Relationship between quality of service and user satisfaction in outpatient medicine Polyclinic Peruvian Japanese 2022.
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-06-12) Kamiya Vásquez, Denisse Akemi; Pretell Aguliar, Rosa María
The purpose of the study was to establish whether there was a link between user satisfaction and service quality in medical outpatient clinics. The method used to collect information was quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional and observational. The questionnaires were used as the collection instrument and technique; for the variable service quality (SERVQUAL modified) and the patient satisfaction questionnaire for outpatient clinics (previously validated questionnaire used in a similar study). The sample was made up of 60 patients who come to be admitted to the outpatient clinics of the medical area in the Japanese Peruvian Polyclinic. After obtaining the data from the sample, these will be compiled, classified and processed using the statistical software SPSS 26, in which descriptive statistics will be used to prepare frequency distribution tables, percentage descriptions and inferential statistics to use Pearson's chi-square statistics; data that will be transferred to Microsoft Excel for the presentation of graphics, information that will help us determine the relationship between both variables of the study.
