Results: The results obtained from the systematic reviews show that of the total of 10 scientific articles reviewed, 100% (n=10/10) report that the use of citrate anticoagulation is more effective compared to the use of heparin. , show that the implementation of a protocol, and the choice of first-line use of citrate anticoagulation is safe, and has more advantages than heparin, because it presents a lower risk of bleeding complications. and/or bleeding. Fernández states that the incidence of hemorrhage was (0% vs. 10.3%). Zhang indicated that citrate is able to reduce the risk of bleeding 0.28 (95% CI 0.15 0.50). Wu reported a statistically significant decrease in bleeding (RR, 0.34; 95% CI, 0, 17-0.65). Conclusions: 100% (n=10/10) show that the use of citrate anticoagulation is more effective compared to the use of heparin, because it significantly reduces the risk and complications of hemorrhage and/or bleeding.Ítem Acceso abierto Knowledge about adherence to treatment and self-care of vascular access in patients with renal failure, Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo, 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-01-09) Huamán Carrasco, María Luz; Fernández Rengifo, Werther FernandoThe study is descriptive and cross-sectional. Likewise, the sample consisted of 38 patients treated in the hemodialysis unit of the Dos de Mayo National Hospital in the district of Lima. The technique used for data collection was the survey and as an instrument the questionnaire, which evaluated the relationship between the level of knowledge about treatment adherence and central venous catheter self-care: variable level of knowledge about central venous catheter, 11 items were used. ; and, for the central venous catheter self-care variable in hemodialysis patients, 15 items were used. Frequency tables and bar figures were used for the parametric correlation test. Data analysis and processing was done using Microsoft Excel 2013 software. The results indicate that the level of knowledge about venous catheters is significantly related to central venous catheter self-care in hemodialyzed patients. It is important that patients continue to be educated to strengthen their knowledge and encourage self-care practices, which are fundamental aspects for the prevention of complications.Ítem Acceso abierto Knowledge and practice of self-care for arteriovenous fistula in hemodialysis patients in a hospital and clinic in Huancayo, 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-09-24) Arredondo Cristóbal, Hugo Alfredo; Camarena Chamaya, Luis MiguelThe knowledge and self-care practices of arteriovenous fistula in hemodialysis patients refer to proper self-care of their arteriovenous fistula. En cambio, en la hormona paratiroidea (PTH) el grupo de colecalciferol mostró una mayor reducción media en los niveles de PTH en comparación con el grupo de ergocalciferol (-15,3 pg/ml vs 2,3 pg/ml, p=0,14 en el análisis de rango).Ítem Acceso abierto Self-care and quality of life in patients with chronic kidney disease, hemodialysis unit of a Lima clinic - 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-08-14) Bendezu LLactahuaman, Christian Joel; Montoro Valdivia, Marcos AntonioThe patient who suffers from deficiency in kidney functions at a chronic level, faces several challenges that will change his life on a personal and social level, with the treatment of hemodialysis, and other procedures designed to control their illness, which are complex, but which consequently alter the patient at a physical and psychological level, clearly affecting their quality of life.
