The objective of this research is to determine the importance of the motivational program in the cycle of behavior change in patients who consume psychoactive substances. This research in question has a quantitative approach, and in terms of methodological design it is a pre-experimental research. The population for carrying out this research will be made up of 30 patients who voluntarily attend the outpatient clinic of the Naña rehabilitation center and will undergo a test before treatment and then a test after receiving treatment. The University of Rhode Island Change Assessment Scale (URICA) instrument will be used to evaluate the stage of change regarding the modification of any addictive behavior.
