Effectiveness of laparoscopic surgery versus robot- assisted surgery in hysterectomy
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-12-14) Aliaga Sihuayro, Luz Marina; Sosa Colqui, Amparo Soledad; Calsin Pacompia, Wilmer
Objective: To analyze and systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of laparoscopic surgery versus robot-assisted surgery in hysterectomy. Materials and methods: Quantitative type and systematic review design, with a population of 22 articles, and a sample of 10 articles. Results: Michele Scandola, in his study, concluded that robot-assisted surgery is more effective, with a shorter operative time compared to conventional laparoscopic surgery. Ahmet Gocmen, in his study, concluded that conventional laparoscopic surgery is more effective due to a shorter operative time and shorter hospital stay. Conclusions: It was concluded that the effectiveness of laparoscopic surgery was 60%, while robot-assisted surgery accounted for 40%.

Effectiveness of laparoscopic versus robotic surgery for the care of patients with gastric cancer in the removal of tumors
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-02-29) Delesma Ventura, Josseline Lizet; Díaz Cubas, Natolía; Fernández Rengifo, Werther Fernando
Objective: To systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of laparoscopic surgery versus robotic surgery for the treatment of gastric cancer patients in tumor removal. Materials and Methods: A quantitative research approach was used, and the study design involved a systematic review. The population consisted of 46 articles, with a sample of 10 scientific articles published and indexed in scientific databases. The search covered the following databases: Scielo, PubMed, Epistemonikos, Cochrane Plus, and EBSCO. The articles were evaluated using the GRADE system, which assessed the quality of evidence and the strength of recommendations. Results: Ten articles were analyzed in this study. These articles showed that the most commonly used method was meta-analysis, which accounted for a higher percentage (40%) compared to other research designs. Conclusions: It was concluded that 60% of the studies demonstrate that laparoscopic surgery was effective in the treatment of gastric cancer, as it showed the patient's quick recovery, was cost-effective, and resulted in fewer adverse effects, thus reducing the incidence of possible complications. However, 40% of the studies indicate that robotic surgery is a promising approach for the treatment of gastric cancer, particularly regarding safety, feasibility, technique, and oncological efficacy.

Effectiveness of robotic surgery in patients undergoing prostatectomy
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-01-06) Solis Mendoza, Angel David; Loayza Del Aguila, Noylalith Esther; Calsin Pacompia, Wilmer
Robotic surgery in prostatectomy is a minimally invasive technique, with a rapid recovery of the physiological functions of the surgically operated patient, since it implements the best techniques of regular surgery and incorporates them into a robot-assisted procedure. The robotic surgery procedure is a relatively new technique in Latin America. Its advantages of this robotic surgery are: ergonomic position for the surgeon, provides a three-dimensional vision in real time, improves the accuracy of movements by eliminating involuntary tremors, 360º rotation of the robot's wrist. Therefore, robotic surgery aims to reduce and recover functions in older adults in terms of; bleeding 60%, urination 60%, fistula reduction, 70% recovery of sexual activity, 70% recovery of perioperative time. Nursing staff should be aware of the need to adapt their work to new techniques related to robotic manipulation. For this, the nurse must update the knowledge in relation to this type of intervention through the Da Vinci system since it works in this novel technique and the continuous attention to the care provided at the time of surgery, the safety of the patient. and reducing surgical times speeds up surgery sessions.
