The theoretical foundation of this research work is Ramona Mercer, whose main objective is to determine the level of adoption of the maternal role of first-time mothers in the care of infants under 1 year of age in a maternal and child center in Comas. This study is quantitative, non-experimental approach, whose instrument that will be used will be the Maternal Role Adoption Scale by authors Garrido and Marchan. This research will be carried out in accordance with the principles of bioethics: autonomy, beneficence, non-maleficence and justice. Therefore, the participants will be informed pertinently about the research to be carried out and informed consent will be presented to them. IBM SPSS v25.0 Software will be used for statistical processing. Subsequently, the reflected data are interpreted, depending on the fulfillment of the research objectives.

Early contact between mother and child creates and promotes the emotional bond, continuously increasing maternal self-esteem, reducing anxiety, improving the feeling of acceptance in the new role and satisfaction during the birth process, therefore, it is essential in the development and survival of the newborn. That is why the objective of this research is; determine the level of early contact of the newborn in the neonatology service in a maternal and child center, Lima, 2019. Regarding the study methodology, the type is descriptive, cross-sectional, non-experimental design, we will work with a population of 92 mothers, also being a minimum amount, we will work with the 92 mothers as a sample. Regarding the instruments, an observation sheet consisting of 14 items will be used. In the data analysis, the statistical programs Excell 2013 and Spss with version 25.0 will be used to prepare frequency tables and bar graphs for the presentation of results, thereby providing the conclusions and recommendations of the case. .

Evidence-based educational interventions to increase the level of knowledge and improve healthy practices for the prevention of intestinal parasitosis in school-age children

The search for full-text articles was carried out in the Cochrane, Scielo and Pubmed databases. 10 articles are included (7 clinical trials, 2 quasi-experimental and 1 cross-sectional design). They all demonstrate the effectiveness of evidence-based educational interventions to increase the level of knowledge and improve healthy practices for the prevention of intestinal parasitosis in children: they are usually educational interventions aimed at teachers, parents and school children taught to through educational talks, demonstration sessions, posters, videos, brochures, etc. on specific topics of parasites signs, symptoms and their prevention. Educational programs with teaching resources such as videos, social dramas and workshops achieve a positive effect in improving knowledge related to healthy practices and habits such as; hand washing, nail trimming, personal hygiene, environmental hygiene and proper disposal of excreta. The nurse plays an important role in the education of children at school. Through interventions in schools, we can contribute to increasing the child's knowledge and improving their healthy lifestyle practices.

Knowledge, beliefs and attitudes in first-time mothers with exclusive breastfeeding from the Peru III zone health center, San Martin de Porres - 2019

Objective: Determine the level of knowledge, beliefs and attitudes in first-time mothers with exclusive breastfeeding at the Peru III Health Center in the San Martín de Porres area–2019. Material and methods: The focus of the study was quantitative and the design is non-experimental, descriptive and cross-sectional. The sample was 70 first-time mothers taken for convenience. The technique was the survey and the data collection instrument was the questionnaire. Results: Regarding the knowledge obtained from first-time mothers regarding breastfeeding, 25.7% had low knowledge, and 51.4% had intermediate knowledge. Regarding beliefs and myths, 90.6% believe that it is shameful to breastfeed in public, in terms of attitude. 22.9% adopt an unfavorable attitude, 51.4% adopt a doubtful attitude and 25.7% a favorable attitude with which we could say an attitude of disposition of love prevails. Conclusions: breastfeeding is suffering from inconsequentiality, the level of insufficient knowledge, deep-rooted beliefs that minimize the great protein value, which are in direct relation to the benefits that could be given, and good attitudes of attachment disposition prevail. Needs of the family of the critical patient in the intensive care unit of the Hipólito Unanue national hospital, Lima 2020

This work has a quantitative approach, descriptive level, cross-sectional; It will be carried out in order to determine the needs of the family of the critical patient in the Intensive Care Unit of the Hipólito Unanue National Hospital, regarding the degree of importance. The sample will consist of 50 relatives of patients admitted to the service, who meet the inclusion criteria. The instrument will be used: the Inventory of Needs and Stressors of Family Members in Intensive Care (INEFCI) questionnaire, which is valid (0.74) and reliable (0.77) according to Spearman Brown. The instrument evaluates what the needs are according to four dimensions: Information, Security, Proximity/Social Support and Comfort. The information obtained will allow the implementation of a care protocol aimed at family members, since according to the new approaches they have needs that demand attention; Proposing an open-door ICU could be considered by some to be of little benefit to health personnel, but this measure, on the contrary, provides benefits to the patient and their family. The family plays an important role in the recovery and reintegration of the patient into society.

Nurse skills and competencies to carry out effective supervision

Objective: Determine the nurse's competencies and skills for effective supervision. Material and methods: Observational and retrospective systematic review, the search has been restricted to articles with full text, and the selected articles were subjected to a critical reading, using the GRADE evaluation to identify their level of evidence. In the final selection, 10 articles were chosen, we found that 30% (3) correspond to Spain, 30% (3) to Brazil, (2) 20%, Mexico, and (2) 20% to Colombia respectively. The Spanish studies have been: cross-sectional descriptive study (1), qualitative (1), and (1) systematic review, from Brazil (1) systematic review, (1) exploratory study, (1) descriptive study; in Mexico (1) exploratory study, (1) descriptive cross-sectional study and in Colombia (1) systematic review and (1) quantitative qualitative study. Of the total articles analyzed, 90% identify specific skills and competencies to exercise the supervisory role in nursing. Results: All the articles reviewed systematically point to effective communication as a valuable tool to transmit knowledge and improve performance. They also mention transformational and relational leadership, teamwork, decision making, negotiation and being decisive as skills. important. Conclusions: The main skills and competencies for effective supervision are transformational leadership, effective communication, management capacity, administration of resources and human talent, research and solidity of knowledge for decision making, ability to exercise authority, problem solving, negotiation, and ability to establish positive relationships, teach and motivate.

Quality of life in patients with terminal chronic renal failure, with hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis treatment, nephrology service, Alberto Sabogal Sologuren National Hospital – Essalud, Callao

Objective: To establish the quality of life of patients with terminal chronic renal failure treated with either Hemodialysis or Peritoneal Dialysis. Nephrology Service. Alberto Sabogal Sologuren National Hospital. Materials and methods: The study according to its tendency was quantitative, according to its orientation it was applied, according to the time of occurrence of the events investigated it was prospective, according to its period and the sequence of the data it was transversal and according to its analysis and scope of its results It was descriptive, while the study was unpublished. Results: Quality of life in Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis was moderately healthy in a little less than half (45.24%) and in a little more than half (54.55%) respectively. The dimensions in HD and DIPAC, in Physical Function, Body Pain, Emotional Role and Mental Health, in both treatments the quality of life is moderately healthy in a little more than half (52%), the General Health and Function dimensions Social quality of life is moderately healthy, a little more than half (57%) and a little less than half (41%) respectively. Conclusion: The statistical hypothesis is confirmed. There is a difference in the quality of life in both treatments, being greater in Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis.

Relationship between mothers' knowledge about vaccines and compliance with the vaccination schedule in infants under one year of age in a primary care center in San Juan de Miraflores

Immunization plays one of the most important roles in current medicine, by preventing disabling illnesses and deaths due to pathologies that can be avoided through inoculation. The current research refers to the role that a nursing professional has within the bonding program for infants under 1 year old, so it is important to precisely explain the theories correlated to the topic with respect to the Orem model oriented to autonomous care and maternal role that institutes an evolution of interaction and development, after the mother achieves attachment to the child by perceiving the events experienced and they intervene to decide or carry out her care, as Ramona Mercer defines it in her proposal of adoption of the maternal role The execution of the research is appropriate due to the protection provided to the mother-child binomial, being essential the scientific knowledge of nursing professionals who understand the need to monitor and safeguard a healthy population and recognize health as an inherent right of each person and family. It has social relevance because based on the results transmitted to the nursing staff of the health facility, strategies and management plans focused on mothers will be developed to optimize vaccination coverage in favor of the health of infants under one year of age.

Stress level in mothers with newborns hospitalized in the neonatal intensive care unit in a provincial hospital in Lima October – November 2020

The present study is of an application level, quantitative type because its variable is subject to measurement, results can be obtained on numerical scales, the method is descriptive and cross-sectional, since it will allow us to obtain testimony of reality as it is presented over a period of time. and defined space, whose objective is to determine the level of stress of mothers with newborns hospitalized in the neonatal intensive care unit of a provincial hospital in Lima, October - November 2020. To meet the objectives, the Modified Maternal Stress scale will be applied. This scale is supported by the Likert measure of 4 scores, which starts from 1 (no stress) to 4 (exaggerated stress). It consists of 4 sublevels that evaluate the degree of stress of mothers regarding: the NICU unit, condition and behavior of the baby, maternal role, relationship with the health team. Which will be applied to all mothers of newborns hospitalized in the neonatal intensive care unit during the research study period.
