Methodology: Quantitative approach, inductive method, basic type, non-experimental design, prospective study, cross-sectional cut, and descriptive scope. The sample consisted of 38 patients diagnosed with hEDS. A self-developed questionnaire was applied. Results: Among complementary/alternative treatments, the most used were Biological Therapies, with Vitamins being the most employed. Twenty-eight patients reported symptom improvement, and three reported no effect. Among pharmacological treatments, the most used drug group was NSAIDs, with Diclofenac being the most frequently used. Twenty-two patients reported symptom improvement, and three reported no effect. Conclusion: The most commonly used treatment was complementary/alternative (Vitamins), compared to pharmacological treatments (Diclofenac).
