Recent studies suggest that these issues arise from various environmental, emotional, and social factors. The physiotherapeutic treatment for TMJ dysfunction includes manual therapy, joint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization, and joint and muscle exercises. Objective: To determine the effectiveness of joint mobilization in improving functionality in patients with TMJ dysfunction at a medical center in the city of Cusco. Materials: Helkimo Index. Method: Hypothetical-deductive, with a quantitative approach and experimental design, longitudinal in nature.
