    Culture of patient safety and prevention of adverse events in nurses working in the cardiac postoperative unit, in a specialized institute, Lima 2023

    To determine the relationship between patient safety culture and prevention of adverse events in nurses working in the postoperative cardiac unit in a specialized institute, Lima 2023. The research project will use a quantitative approach, descriptive correlational, and cross-sectional methodological design with a population of 60 nursing professionals. The independent variable will be the patient safety culture with its dimensions: safety in the work area, the safety provided by management, safety from communication, reported events, and safety from primary care. Meanwhile, the dependent variable will be the prevention of adverse events with its dimensions related to clinical administration, care procedures, documentation errors, and medication; these will be measured by means of a survey and the results will be subjected to validity with a significance level of 0.05 and reliability of 0.86 Cronbach's Alpha.
