Knowledge of the health and safety management system and occupational risk of the nursing staff of the sterilization centers of Hospitals II De Chanchamayo.

The processes carried out in the sterilization center lead to the probability of suffering occupational diseases and accidents, this level of risk requires to be related to the knowledge that the staff has of the Safety and Health Standards at work. Objective: To analyze the relationship of the level of knowledge of the Safety and Health Management System at Work with the occupational risk in the nursing staff in the Medical Device Processing Units of the Level II Hospitals of the province of Chanchamayo. Materials and methods: The methodological design of the research will be descriptive correlational, with a quantitative approach, at an application level, cross-sectional; The study population is made up of 23 healthcare employees of the Medical Device Processing Units, the survey will be the technique to collect information from a first source, using two questionnaires, the first questionnaire to measure the level of knowledge with 29 questions and the second to measure occupational risk with 34 questions; instruments that were validated by specialists in the subject. Ethical principles and informed consent will be essential requirements for the application of surveys.

Liderazgo de enfermería y la gestión de seguridad del paciente de un hospital nacional de Lima, 2024

La labor que realizan los enfermeros dentro de las instituciones es esencial y encierra una gran responsabilidad, dado que se encuentran en constante interacción con los pacientes. Sin embargo, se ha detectado que el liderazgo enfermero aún no alcanza el nivel adecuado para realizar, coordinar y ejecutar acciones que contribuyan a mantener la gestión de seguridad del paciente, exponiéndolos a riesgos que perjudicar su condición. OBJETIVO: Determinar la relación que existe entre el liderazgo de enfermería y la gestión de seguridad del paciente de un hospital nacional de Lima, 2024. MATERIALES Y MÉTODOS: La metodología del estudio fue cuantitativa, no experimental y transversal, donde participaron 73 miembros del personal de enfermería. Se empleó la técnica de la encuesta y se aplicó un cuestionario de 30 preguntas para medir la variable liderazgo de enfermería y otro de 21 ítems para la medición de la variable gestión de seguridad. RESULTADOS: El 48% de las enfermeras obtuvo un liderazgo considerado medio seguido de un nivel bajo con un 32%. Se determino que con un Rho = 0,198** P=0,000, existe una relación baja positiva y significativa entre la dimensión liderazgo transformacional y la gestión de seguridad. Además, con un valor de Rho = 0,442**, P=0,000 se demostró que existe relación baja, positiva y significativa entre la dimensión estresores del Liderazgo transaccional y la gestión de seguridad. También, se determino con un coeficiente de Rho = 0,318**, P=0,001 que la relación encontrada fue baja, positiva y significativa entre la dimensión Liderazgo laissez faire y Gestión de seguridad CONCLUSIÓN: Se llego a la conclusión que existe relación significativa entre las variables de estudio planteadas. P=0,000.

Patient safety management and quality of care of nursing professionals who work in a hospital in Lima-Provinces, 2023

Objective: "To determine the relationship between patient safety management and the quality of nursing professional care", the population will be made up of 90 nursing professionals, who work at the Chancay Hospital and SBS "Dr. Hidalgo Atoche López. Sample: the total population, Methodological Design: The type of research will be applied. Design will be observational, descriptive, correlational, prospective and cross-sectional. Instruments: To evaluate the "Safety Management" variable, the questionnaire will be used, which was validated according to protocols used by Melendrez in 2021, reliable through Cronbach's Alpha of 0.954, and to evaluate the "Care Quality" variable, the questionnaire will be applied. validated according to protocols used by Laura and Astete in 2019, reliable through Spearman's Rho correlation coefficient of 0.9521. The data collection technique will be the survey. Statistical processing and data analysis: it will be carried out using Spearman's non-parametric statistical test, working at 95% confidence and 5% error.
