Ítem Acceso abierto Satisfaction of mothers attending the “growth and development” service and the perception of the quality of nursing care at the Universal Cooperative Health Center(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-05-24) Carmen Veliz, Valery Jeanette; Sosa Suárez, Katheryne Janeth; Chávez Flores, Erik MarioObjective: Determine the relationship that exists between the satisfaction of mothers who attend the “growth and development” service and the perception of the quality of nursing care at the Universal Cooperative Health Center. Material and Methods: the study is quantitative, descriptive, correlational, cross-sectional, non-experimental design. The population was 165 mothers who came weekly. The sample was 50 mothers who attended the growth and development service, through convenience sampling. The instruments used were a satisfaction questionnaire and another on the perception of quality of care. Results: in relation to the variables, it was found that the percentage of mothers with a high level of satisfaction increases significantly as the perception of the quality of care is greater (From 5.9% to 71.4%). 58.8% of mothers who perceive the quality of care as low have low level satisfaction and only 5.9% have high level satisfaction. Conclusion: Satisfaction and quality of nursing care as perceived by mothers who attend the growth and development service at the Universal Cooperative Health Center are significantly related (Chi Square: p.value = 0.002 and Tau b of Kendall: p.value = 0.000).
