Family satisfaction and quality of life in terminal cancer patients at a specialized institute 2021

Objective: Determine how the level of family satisfaction is related to the quality of life in terminal cancer patients of a Specialized Institute 2021. Material and method: The research responds to the hypothetical, deductive and analytical method, it has a quantitative approach, applied, descriptive, non-experimental and cross-sectional design, the population that constitutes it makes a total of 900 users with terminal oncological diseases who enter the Palliative Medicine and Pain Treatment service of a Specialized Institute, from this a sample of 166, the survey technique was used and the instrument is the Likert scale, which describes the presentation, instructions, sociodemographic characteristics and the family satisfaction questionnaire that consists of 14 items and the quality of life questionnaire of 24 items, their content validity was made and submitted to expert judgment, reliability was found by applying Cronbach's Alpha coefficient, obtaining a value of 0.85 for the Family Satisfaction Instrument and for the Quality of Life Instrument, it was obtained a reliability of 0.86. Data processing will be automated using software (SPSS) version 22.0, to subsequently perform simple and cross tabulation, illustrating the results in statistical tables.

Objective: To analyze the relationship between the nurse's intervention and coping with pain in post-surgical cancer patients at the Alberto Sabogal Sologuren Hospital, Callao 2021 Material and method: This research has a quantitative approach, because data collection is used to demonstrate the hypothesis based on statistical analysis and analysis of the qualities or attributes described and the technique is the survey and for the instruments it is a questionnaire for both variables validated and with high reliability; to determine the results of the behavior models in a population.

Knowledge and practice on breast cancer prevention among users of the oncology service of a hospital in Junín, 2022

About 10 million deaths occurred as a result of cancer in the course of 2020, it is estimated that this disease will cause about 30 million deaths in 2040. This study will have the objective: “To determine how the level of knowledge is related to the practice on the prevention of breast cancer in users of the oncology service”, the approach will be quantitative with a hypothetical deductive method; with a cross-sectional, non-experimental and correlational design, the type of study is applied, the sample will be made up of 70 patients who attend the Ramiro Priale Priale hospital in the department of Junín, since the sample is small so it will be census, Two validated instruments will be used as the questionnaire for the first variable and in the second variable it will also be a questionnaire, to process and analyze the data, Microsoft Excel and SPSS version 26 will be used, for the hypothesis test the chi will be applied. square which is a non-parametric test that seeks the correlation of the variables, the results of the study will be displayed in tables and graphs.

Level of resilience in the nursing professional working in an oncological institution in Lima - Peru 2021

We understand resilience as the universal human capacity that makes us face different misfortunes in life, overcome all or most of them until we undergo a metamorphosis through it; It refers that resilience should be stimulated from the childhood stage since it is an evolutionary process. The project's methodology is a quantitative approach. Regarding the methodological design, it is a descriptive, cross-sectional, prospective research. This project will have as a convenience sample 100 nurses who are working in different areas in an oncological institution in Lima, Peru. 2020. The instrument evaluating the resilience variable is the Wagnild and Young Resilience Scale, originally from the United States, with a reliability level of 0.81 and a validity level of 0.81. 0.93, with a 0.5 level of significance. The adaptation carried out in Peru by Novella in 2002 is presented. This instrument is structured in 25 questions on a Likert-type format scale.

Introduction: User satisfaction in nursing care is of vital importance since, according to the care provided to the patient, it will depend on their continuity in treatment, and it will also greatly influence their state of mind, which is why it is It is vitally important to know the opinions and perspectives that patients or users have about the care provided by nursing staff in their daily care. Objective: Determine how nursing care is related to the level of user satisfaction in the oncology service of a hospital in Lima, 2022. Methods: The study will be observational, descriptive, correlational and cross-sectional. The population will be made up of 60 patients receiving outpatient chemotherapy in a hospital in Lima, the sample will be taken between the months of July and August 2022. The instruments to be used will be: Quality of nursing care and CARE-Q, the Spearman correlation coefficient, with which two variables will be measured, the statistical relationship between them will be understood and evaluated without influence of any foreign variable.

This research study aims to: Determine the relationship between the overload and quality of life of the primary caregiver of the oncological child of a national hospital, 2022. Methodology: Quantitative approach, applied type, non-experimental design, correlational and cross-sectional level. 60 adult users constitute the population, who are primary caregivers of children with oncology. The survey will be used as a technique for data collection, for this two questionnaires will be applied; Zarit caregiver burden assessment scale, made up of 4 dimensions distributed among 22 items and the Whoqol-Bref quality of life scale, which contains 26 questions equally made up of 4 dimensions.

Percepción del cuidado humanizado y satisfacción del paciente oncológico de un hospital nacional de Lima, 2024

Introducción: El cuidado humanizado es la atención que se brinda a los pacientes considerando sus necesidades emocionales, físicas, espirituales y sociales. Es así que se basa en la empatía y la comunicación eficaz, tanto con el personal de salud y los usuarios, es fundamental para mejorar su calidad de vida. Objetivo: “Determinar como la percepción del cuidado humanizado se correlaciona con la satisfacción del enfermo con cáncer de un hospital nacional”. Métodos: Es un trabajo cuantitativo, observacional, transversal y correlacional. El universo poblacional de estudio son 85 pacientes oncológicos, se enumerarán criterios de elegibilidad con la finalidad de disminuir y controlar el sesgo en la información. Los instrumentos serán PCHE y de satisfacción. La información será presentada en cuadros previo procesamiento en Excel y la estadística que se utilizará para el análisis será la descriptiva; y un análisis bivariado para comprobar la hipótesis planteada, este se realizará mediante el software SPSS 27, utilizándose como prueba de hipótesis la Rho de Spearman, en todas las fases de estudio se tendrá una actitud ética adecuada al estándar de los códigos y leyes que respaldan la ética en la actividad científica.

Quality of nursing care and level of satisfaction in oncology patients in the emergency service of the National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases, Lima 2022

The quality of nursing care is a dynamic process and a value judgment and technical assistance to identify needs, prioritize them and decide a care plan, in disease prevention, participate in treatment and rehabilitation in the emergency service. Health institutions use the evaluation of patient satisfaction as an indicator to increase the expectations of patients in order to guarantee the best acceptance in care and good satisfaction in cancer patients in the emergency service. OBJECTIVE: To determine the relationship between the quality of nursing care and the level of satisfaction in cancer patients in the emergency service of the National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases, Lima 2022. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The research method is hypothetical deductive, approach quantitative, type of basic research, non-experimental, cross-sectional research design, correlational descriptive level. The technique for data collection will be the survey for both variables. The instrument to be used will be quality of nursing care and consists of 39 items, corresponding to the Likert scale from 1 to 3. Its values are: (1) never, (2) sometimes, (3) always and for the patient satisfaction instrument the scale contains 31 items that correspond to a Likert scale from 1 to 3. Its values are: (1) very satisfied, (2) satisfied, (3) dissatisfied.

Quality of nursing care and satisfaction in hospitalized patients in the oncology service of the Delgado Clinic

With the evolution of technology in the area of oncology, the globalization of knowledge and quality standards, users look for alternatives that meet their expectations when hospitalized. One of the services that has the most contact with the client is the specialist nursing staff. in oncology. Objective: Establish the relationship between the quality of nursing care and the satisfaction of hospitalized patients in the oncology service of the Delgado Clinic. Materials and methods: Quantitative type, methodological, descriptive, cross-sectional correlational design. The sample will be 100% of the patients admitted to the oncology service in January 2021. Two survey-type instruments will be applied, one to measure the quality of care developed by Guzmán Blanca, and the other to measure satisfaction developed by Arteaga. To process the data, the SPSS vs 21 statistical package will be used, the conclusions and results will be reported through tables with one and double numerical and percentage entry, for the statistical analysis the Chi X2 independence test will be applied.

Spiritual well-being of nurses working with oncology patients in the Clinica Internacional Lima Peru 2021 network

Aim. It will determine the level of spiritual well-being of nurses who work with oncology patients in the International Clinical Network, Lima - Peru. Materials and methods. The present research will have a quantitative approach, in terms of the methodological design it is a descriptive, cross-sectional, non-experimental research. The population will consist of 100 nurses who work with cancer patients selected within the inclusion and exclusion criteria set out in this research. One of these inclusion criteria is: that they work with cancer patients for more than a year and one of the exclusion criteria is: It will be that they are atheists or agnostics. The technique to be used will be the survey, to measure the level of spiritual well-being, the spiritual well-being scale of Paloutzian and Ellison (1982) adapted by Salgado (2012) will be used as an instrument, which evaluates spiritual well-being and two religious and existential dimensions. It consists of 21 items (11 to know the level of religious well-being and 10 to know the level of existential well-being).
