This research is related to determining common parenting styles in military families. Therefore, it is vitally important to determine whether future parenting methods are really related to the inappropriate behavior of adolescents, it is important that parents identify and understand their parenting methods established in the family and thus avoid social problems, emotional, mental and cognitive development problems in children. The results obtained will directly benefit nursing graduates of the second specialty, the nursing staff who work at the Chorrillos military polyclinic and the multidisciplinary health team (psychologist, social worker, family doctor, etc.). They will work with intervention strategies such as seminars, conferences, workshops, etc. About good parenting styles and importance, attitudes towards parenting and emotional intelligence, as well as improving communication channels in the family and how it will benefit the children of the military family including father, mother, siblings, relatives and main caregivers.
