Ítem Acceso abierto Level of emotional overload and resilience in family caregivers of adolescent hospitalization patients in the mental health area of the Edgardo Rebagliati Hospital, 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-09-11) Aliaga Manya, Rosa Primitiva; Cárdenas de Fernández, María HildaThe present study called "Level of emotional overload and resilience in family caregivers of adolescent patients hospitalized in the mental health area of the Edgardo Rebagliati Hospital, 2022" aims to determine the relationship between emotional overload and resilience in family caregivers of adolescent hospitalized patients, from the mental health area of the Edgardo Rebagliati Hospital, the present research uses the deductive method with a quantitative approach, it is of an applied type and of a non-experimental design, cross-sectional. Prior to the execution of this study, the corresponding administrative procedures will be formalized and the participants will be asked for informed consent. The population is made up of 100 family caregivers of adolescent patients, this study contemplates the entire population for the research because it is a minimal amount and to whom the instruments of the Zarit scale and the Wagnild and Young Resilience scale will be applied, with 22 and 25 items respectively. The Zarit scale examines three dimensions: the impact of caregiving, interpersonal relationships, and self-efficacy expectations. The resilience scale examines five dimensions: self-confidence, perseverance, equanimity, personal satisfaction, and the dimension of feeling good alone. The results of both scales will be determined independently, and the relationship that overload exerts on resilience in the three dimensions that measure the level of overload of the family caregiver will also be analyzed. The information obtained will be tabulated and processed statistically, using the statistical packages Excel and SPSS 22.
