Introduction: Nursing is the staff that is permanently caring for patients, it is the profession most evaluated through family members who may have the perception of care as low, medium or high, becoming an indicator that evaluates patient satisfaction. the attention received. There are several definitions of quality in the health context, according to Palmer, quality is the achievement of patient adherence and satisfaction, through the provision of services with improved resources, while Avedis Donabedian “is desired care extending the well-being of the patient.” patient, providing accessible and equitable services, "finally Orozco defines that quality is the axis of improvement of Health systems and health personnel, especially nursing." Objective: Determine the quality of nursing care according to the perception of the family member in the pediatric service in a Social Security Hospital 2020. Methodology: A quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional and descriptive study will be carried out. The population will be made up of relatives of patients hospitalized in the pediatric service of a Social Security Hospital. According to the statistics of monthly income, it is expected that in this period they will amount to 60, to whom the questionnaire on “Quality of nursing care according to the perception of the family member in the pediatric service 2020” will be applied as an instrument. It will be analyzed using the matrix sheet with the Excel program, and then taken to the SPSS software, evaluating it as Always, Sometimes and Never.

Uncertainty in the primary caregiver of the child with leukemia in a social security hospital in Callao, 2020

Descriptive cross-sectional study in primary caregivers of children hospitalized with a Diagnosis of Leukemia at a Social Security Hospital in Callao, the record of patient admissions in the Hematology Pediatric Hospitalization Service will be used during the period of 2020, a sample at the convenience of primary caregivers. To collect the information, the survey will be used as a technique to obtain the level of uncertainty of the primary caregivers of children with Leukemia, applying the Merle Mishel Disease Uncertainty Scale Instrument – Father Son Form in the Spanish version. . The instrument consists of 31 questions that measure uncertainty during the experience of the children's illness related to ambiguity, complexity, lack of information and lack of prediction. Each question has an option of 5 responses on a Likert scale: 1. Completely disagree; 2. Disagreement; 3. Undecided; 4. Agreement; 5. Totally agree. The score of the instrument ranges from a minimum of 31 points and a maximum of 155 points, the higher the score, the higher the level of uncertainty regarding the disease.
