Regarding the methodology, a quantitative approach was applied in the study, with a hypothetical deductive method, nonexperimental design and scope. correlational. The sample consisted of 300 inhabitants of the city of Lima, to whom a survey and two validated questionnaires with a high level of reliability were applied to know their opinion on citizen security and community participation. The descriptive results showed that 60% of the inhabitants perceive that citizen security is regular, while 56.75% stated that community participation occurred adequately. The inferential results showed a Spearman coefficient of 0.924 and a significance of 0.000 < 0.05, which shows a very good and positive relationship between the variables; Therefore, it is concluded that there is a significant relationship between citizen security and community participation in the city of Metropolitan Lima, 2023.Publicación Acceso abierto Gestión del presupuesto participativo y el nivel de satisfacción en la ciudadanía del distrito de Quilmaná, provincia de Cañete, 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-09-25) Munayco Mendieta, Juan Roberto; Cabrejos Burga, Raul EduardoThe objective of this research work is to determine how the management of the participatory budget is related to the level of satisfaction in the citizens of the District of Quilmaná in the Province of Cañete, 2021. The research design is quantitative, descriptive and non-experimental, operating with two variables, participatory budget management and the level of satisfaction, describing the relationship between the two. For this purpose, a questionnaire was applied to a sample of 372 citizens, in such a way that the description and statistical analysis to obtain the results, the descriptive statistics and the Sperman Rho coefficient were used for the hypothesis test. As a result, the significant correlation between the management of the participatory budget and the level of satisfaction in the citizens of the District of Quilmaná, Province of Cañete, 2021 is obtained, by obtaining the significance value p = 0.000 <0.05; in addition to a Spearman coefficient of 0.207, which indicates a positive and low correlation between participatory budgeting management and the level of satisfaction. It is concluded that there is a positive correlation between the management of the participatory budget and the living conditions. Regarding the management of the participatory budget and the condition, there is a positive correlation, while in the management of the participatory budget with social welfare and social dialogue the correlation is positive and low.Publicación Acceso abierto Participación ciudadana y toma de decisiones en la municipalidad provincial de Barranca, Lima – 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-01-31) Velez Delgado, José Victor; Cuba Carbajal, NéstorThe objective of this study was to determine the relationship between citizen participation in decision-making in the provincial municipality of Barranca, Lima, during the year 2023. A quantitative hypothetico-deductive approach was used, with a non-experimental, simple correlational and cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 210 participants. The results showed that the data did not follow a normal distribution, according to the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test (Sig.= ,000 < 0.05), so the nonparametric Rho Spearman test was applied to contrast the hypothesis. A positive and significant correlation was found between the variables citizen participation and decision making (0.488), which implies that the greater the citizen participation, the better the decision making. In addition, a direct and significant relationship was observed between citizen participation and its dimensions: intervention of organized institutions (0.366), participatory budget (0.377) and citizen oversight (0.524). These findings suggest that citizen participation is related to decision-making in the provincial municipality of Barranca, considering factors such as the intervention of organized institutions, participatory budgeting and citizen oversight.Publicación Acceso abierto Participación de actores sociales y percepción del funcionamiento de la política para reducir anemia en niños de 4 a 11 meses en un establecimiento de salud, Chorrillos 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-06-26) Flores Valdivia, Luis Martin; Vargas Merino, Jorge AlbertoThe objective of this research work was to determine the relationship between the participation of social actors and the perception of the functioning of the policy to reduce anemia in children from 4 to 11 months in a health facility in Chorrillos, which was an investigation of the type applied, quantitative approach, non-experimental cross-sectional design and correlational scope; uses non-probabilistic sampling, selecting by convenience 80 caregivers of children between 4 and 11 months old, meeting inclusion and exclusion criteria to whom a structured questionnaire was applied, validated by experts and evaluated by the Cronbach´s Alpha Coefficient, guaranteeing its reliability. It is concluded that there is a significant relationship between the participation of social actors and the perception of the functioning of the policy to reduce anemia in certain dimensions, highlighting the home visit by social actors to the child caregivers. These findings highlight the importance of the participation of social actors and the perception of the policy to reduce anemia in children from 4 to 11 months’ whit a Rho coefficient of 0.413, highlighting that there is a moderate positive correlation between the variables.
